Vehicle Detail

Relisted Car was sold and all money received and cleared. Buyer lost his job but was a stand up guy and was willing to complete the transaction, but life would be easier if we stopped it before the car shipped. I wish him well! I did do a buy it now which is why the car was sold last time before the bidding ended. Check out the 210 that sold for $3500. Ebay item #290797476378. You can see the poor quality front right fender repair and bondo. There is 0 body repair on my car. This car is a time capsule. It had a one woman owner for most of its life in Birmingham Alabama. Bought and shipped to Richmond VA to settle her estate. Second owner planned on doing a drift car and did not have the heart to touch it since it was so nice. It has been garage kept all it's life. The condition of the car is beyond belief. The only detraction was that the cloth on the seats were threadbare and needing replacing. If this car is not as described when you come to pick it up, just walk away. I have always wanted a 510 but what is available on the East Coast are usually rust buckets, typical of almost every Japanese car of this age. This body style is even harder to find and has classic lines as well. This car is over the top clean. My pictures should show you the true condition of the car with one exception. The paint is all original; however, it will need a respray if you want a show car. What tripped my trigger when I saw it was how solid the car was and what a minimal amount of prep it would take for a new paint job. Minor dents more like slight hail. Bumpers have never been even slightly tweeked. The spare has never been down on the road or even removed for that matter. All new tires. Interior is perfect. Dash has no cracks. Seats were done by the best in Virignia and cost over $800 for the front and rear seats. He breaks them down to the springs and works back up using marine grade vinyl. He has done my other show cars and I am never disappointed. This was going to be my next project, but with the last kid in school the money can be used in other directions. I encourage anyone to come and see this car. I can deliver this car with a prior agreement depending on location. This car has been produced under several different names. It is a 210 not a B210. Some call it a 150Y or a Sunny depending on the country. This is an early 1980 as Datsun went to square headlights after spring production. This is an easy swap to a KA24DE Nissan Motor and Transmission. 200SX rear end is also a common swap for a beefy rear and disc brakes. Sorry about no engine pictures but the engine bay is just as nice. Motor is stock and puts out 80HP in a 2000# car. A 60 something mechanic bought the car off ebay and shipped it out of Alabama. He went ahead before it arrived and ordered new Brembo Discs, rear pads, new struts, new rear shocks etc... When it got here it did not need any of them installed so you can see them pictured in the trunk. Car drives great. No smoke, shifts great, brakes are super strong as they are the only power option on the car. I bought it, drove it home 60 miles at 70-80 and it purred like a kitty. Water Temperature remained low and constant. When we were testing the car, I asked about the brakes as we were in a clover leaf and he decided to lock them up. It really does stop. This is not a hot rod, it could be a real sleeper with a conversion or with some pointers off of the Ratsun Web Site easy 100HP plus up to 150HP depending on A15 work. I feel the car could be driven anywhere, but that is your risk. You are welcome to inspect, take to a shop at your expense or have a buddy inspect and drive. I don't have insurance on it since it has not been put on the road since I bought it. It is tight and even has a new radio sitting under the dash. Dash has never been cut so a stock radio can be remounted if desired. Call me with any questions, 804-240-5117. PS I have a set of Aluminum Shelby Wheels for the Car. 14 x 6? You can see a picture of the wheel mounted and it is unsprung. With the car on the ground, it should fit right up into the wheel well. Better to fit the wheels and tires before lowering the car. $250 if you want them with the car. PPS I have pulled the plastic wheel well trim and door edge and started removing the glue. PPPS Someone asked about the rubber trim. The window rubber on the windows, windshields and weather stripping does not need to be replaced. No DRY ROT of any sort, even the window felt is in great shape. I did not detail the car other than give it a wash. The wheel wells and under the car are just that clean. There has never been any undercoating applied. There also has not been any Armour All applied to any of the exterior or interior. The seats had been wiped down after they were finished but everything you see is as original. Wipe the kick panels or door panels and things always look better in photos. Look at how nice it is in a raw state and you can really see what you are getting.
