Vehicle Detail
******NO RESERVE***** 1967 first-generation Chevrolet Camaro 2 door 2+2 coupe with a V8 powerplant. This first-gen "F-body" camaro has a two-speed "Powerglide" automatic transmission. According to the cowl plate, it was the 138,417th camaro made at the Norwood Plant in 1967, in the suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio. It is an original V8 car, coupe, build date is the 3rd week of June, 1967. The interior of the car is red, and has been restored. The original interior according to the cowl tag was black. The interior is a standard interior, sport coupe with standard bucket seats. The car did come with tinted windshield and deluxe seatbelts, as well as the center console and gauge assembly. It has the original clock, fuel, and oil pressure with the center console. In the dash, steering area, it has the speedometer gauge and factory tach. The car is solid, interior is very nice, exterior needs minor work before being able to go to the paint shop. The front clip is completely new, including inner and outer fenders, radiator support, radiator, battery tray, all new bolts as well. Has a cowl induction hood. I have the front bumber and brackets. I was planning on ordering the new grille kit once the car was painted. The kit includes standard headlight bezels, standard upper an lower molding, along with center grille complete for $217.99. I can forward the new owner the ordering info if needed. The camaro sits on new 235/60R15 raised solid white letter GT Radial tires mounted on new 15x8 rally rims with new centers and trim rings. Other new parts include a new starter, alternator, and regulator. Currently the engine and compartment have not been recently restored. The engine runs good, does not use oil or smoke and is a driver but would need rebuilt and dressed up to become show worthy. It currently also has headers and true dual exhaust. The motor runs out good, car drives good, and transmission works as it should. We just recently trailered the car to the annual cruisin' the coast october 7th-14th, 2012 on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi. This camaro was the 5,392 car registered in the event and was only mid week. This camaro is a nice cruiser, and is not far from being a nice finished driver. The trunk is solid, the undercarraige is solid, floor pans are solid, and interior is nice. The doors open and close with ease, and its tight. However, it is not a show condition car. It has not been recently restored. It does not sit outside, has been maintained inside since atleast 1991. The car is currently insured and registered and is driven on occassion, but never left outside overnight or during incliment weather. I have numerous old boxes with some various parts, trim pieces, etc. that will go with the car to its new owner. ******NO RESERVE***** highest bidder wins
