NO RESERVE AUCTION SERIOUS BIDDERS WITH SUFFICIENT FUNDS ONLY PLEASE. 1956 Chevrolet 2 door hard top bel air Power pack 11 year old restoration a North Carolina car still in very good driver condition. 63326 original miles. Engine and transmission was rebuilt at 59,000 miles. 4000 miles ago ; Front Disc brakes were added, rear brakes serviced, all new suspension components including stabilizer bars(front and rear) were added, shock absorbers replaced. Body is in rust free condition, about 11 years ago it was stripped/sand blasted and painted to its original color. Finished in Sierra Gold/ Adobe beige (original colors). Frame and under carriage was as well cleaned and undercoated during the paint process. Trunk floor was replaced with new metal at the time of restoration. It has no bubbles or blisters in paint. Minor scratches/nicks and one dent about 3 inches wide on drivers side quarter panel. Interior is in very original as far as the seats and the door panels. Glass (tinted option car) has slight bubbles around the edges. Starts right up. It drives well and handles tight. Chrome at some parts is aged and show wear. Stainless is in good shape. Lots of original GM accessories were added such aas front bumper guard, door handle shields exhaust tips. If I was to keep it I would add a set of radial white walls would really make this bel air look good. - 63K orig miles - Numbers match - Original 265cu.inc. Power pack 4 BBL - Original Power glide transmission - Front disc brakes - Working Air condition - Stainless steel dual exhaust with flowmasters mufflers.
