Transmission shifts smoothly. Autolite 4300 4-barrel, Dual Exhaust, 3 Speed C6 Transmission Displacement: 7536 cm3 / 459.8 cui, Bore:110.74 mm / 4.36 in, Stroke:97.79 mm / 3.85 in, Compression ratio:10.5 : 1 This model outside length is 5489 mm / 216.1 in, it's 2017 mm / 79.4 in wide and has wheelbase of 2977 mm / 117.2 in 4675 lbs official base curb weight 24.1 Gallon Gas Tank Leather, Power Front Seats, Power Windows, Genuine Walnut Veneer Appliques, Cartier Clock, A Vinyl Roof in Cavalry Twill pattern, AM/FM Original Stereo Radio, Air Conditioning, Automatic Headlight Dimmer, Functioning Vaccum Power Headlights White Wall Bias Tires, Front Disc Brakes, Rear Drum This Lincoln is a very nice ride. I find it to be all original except the battery, body paint, distributor cap and tires. It has a few scuffs and dents on the driver's side door and rear quarter. Chrome isnt perfect but very presentable. Carpet is in great Condition, There appears to have some body work along the years when it was repainted. Some rust spots, The paint isnt the best but looks good from a distance. 10 miles ago I changed the Engine Oil and Transmission Fluid and filters. Replaced the Transmission Tail Seal, Replaced both Rear Brake Lines, New Power Steering Fluid,New Brake Fluid, Coolant is fresh and at -40 protection, Front End Suspension was inspected and is all tight. Ready for the Road. The Air Conditioning Compressor still kicks on however it isnt blowing cold so I unplugged it. Tires have great tread on them but dont have the feel of Radials. Brakes feel good. Interior is in very good condition. For a 42 year old car the interior is in exceptional condition. No cracks on the dash, Windshield has no cracks or chips, Seats have no rips or tears, Headliner is in near excellent condition, Original Walnut Trim is in near excellent condition. Cartier Clock Works, Radio Works, Floorboards and trunk are solid, Rear windows work, Passenger Front Window doesn't roll down. The window motor either needs replaced or the regulator needs replaced. I located a window regulator. I have a working window motor. The window is propped up. Door panels are in near excellent condition. Missing a front dash ashtray. The side view mirror adjustment cable has play in it. I am not getting the Cruise Control to activate. Power Antennae works, Headlights work, Original Hubcaps, Spare tire in trunk, Right rear tail light bezel is broken at the bottom in the picture, however, I have replaced it. There is some overspray, Paint on Hood and Trunk has some fading spots could possibly be buffed out. There is a scrape and dent behind drivers door and a dent around the gas cap door. Oil Change Sticker under the hood that says next change at 65,000 in 1976, Im assuming this Lincoln has only been driven 3900 miles since 1976, I have seen these cars for sale up to $35,000 and at around $10,000 for some with more miles than this one. Haggarty For a #4 Condition Car is valued at $7000, Haggarty definition of a #4 car = cars are daily drivers, with flaws visible to the naked eye. The chrome might have pitting or scratches, the windshield might be chipped. Paintwork is imperfect, and perhaps the fender has a minor dent. The interior could have split seams or a cracked dash. No major parts are missing, but the wheels could differ from the originals, or the interior might not be stock. A #4 car can also be a deteriorated restoration. "Fair" is the one word that describes a #4 car. I would say this Lincoln is in better condition than a "Low Retail" car. NADA Low Retail Value is $9,240 NADA Definition of Low Retail Value = This vehicle would be in mechanically functional condition, needing only minor reconditioning. The exterior paint, trim, and interior would show normal wear, needing only minor reconditioning. May also be a deteriorated restoration or a very poor amateur restoration. Most usable "as-is". This is a nice example of a true classic luxury car. This would be perfect for a restoration, custom or to just enjoy and drive it original the way it is. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions, It is not a problem for you to personally inspect the Mark III before making an offer. I will be happy to assist with your shipper or transporter. I would be comfortable getting in this Lincoln and driving it on a long trip. I have described this vehicle honestly and to the best of my knowledge. Sold as is. Thank you for your interest
