This is a 1994 Dodge Cummins Diesel 5-speed, Hodges Car Hauler. This truck is in excellent condition. Exterior: The color is the best Red. All sheet metal is original and 100 percent rust-free. There is no damage to the truck. All the glass is perfect. All lights are bright and work as they should. It has newer style flip up tow mirrors, brand new tires, all six. with stainless steel simulators. This truck looks very presentable for a 1994. There are however some sun faded spots on roof and hood. A couple of minor dings and scratches on the car hauler bed. Bed: This is Hodges deluxe conversion. The bed is 19 feet 6 inches long with a 12,000 lb. winch and rear car lift which is mechanically operated with the 12,000 lb. winch. It can also be removed with a few simple pull pins. The ramps to load vehicles are self contained in the bed. It also has two large tool boxes for straps and tools. Bed is in 100 percent working order and is rust free. Engine: It has the mighty Cummins 12 valve diesel motor with 182,000 miles. Just barely broken in. It starts, runs and operates 100 percent with no leaks or blow by. It has an after market AFE dry cell intake and 4 inch dual stack exhaust. Helps it to breathe a little better. There have been no modifications to the 12 valve, fuel plate and pump have never been touched. Drive Train: This was a cab and chassie style one ton. It has the tube style front suspension with coil overs. It has received brand new rotors, brand new pads, brand new lifetime Moog upper and lower greaseable ball joints with new shocks and steering stabilizer. The transmission is an NV4500 5-speed. Operates perfectly in all gears. No noise, no scratching. The rear end is a Dana 80 with 3:55 gearing. The Dana 80 has been serviced with synthetic fluids and new brakes and new shocks. Interior: the interior has a new Dodge dash both upper and lower. The seats are in excellent condition as are the carpet and headliner. It is an SLT model. It has pw, pl, ps,ac, cd player, map and courtesy lights along with compass and temperature reading. The truck also has a switched strobe light feature. This truck runs and drives 100 percent. All systems are 100 percent. I have used this vehicle to tow cars and trucks from all over the United States. You can fly in and drive anywhere. This truck being a 12 valve gets excellent fuel mileage. Empty with 3:55 gearing it gets 26 mpg. Loaded with two compact cars, between 15-20 mpg all day.
