No rust. Metal body w/fiberglass fenders. Steering and rear end is what was normally used on builds from the 90's. Car runs great. Paint is great with a couple of small touch-ups to make perfect. The car is a 1990's build (NOT A NEW BUILD) and I purchased it in August of 2011. Spent time since then re-wiring (new harness from Speedway Motors with wires labeled every 10 inches or so. Some loose ends need attention to complete but not a big deal); new steering column/wheel, etc; new flooring/insulation, etc.; new dash; new interior (seat from late model wreck); new battery; new ignition switch; new radiator rock guard, new valve cover gaskets; new plugs; new battery cut-off switch; new tail lights; brakes adjusted (4 wheel hydraulic); new third light tail light. I have a new trans shift assembly (2 speed powerglide) not yet installed that goes with the car. The car is not a show car but could be. My plans were to replace the powerglide transmission and possibly the rear end for more modern build. Estimates to do so were pretty modest. I love the car but at my age, I realize its not the car for me and am currently restoring my 1928 original Model A. That's the reason for selling. In the last Ebay listing the pending sale for this car was nullified because of a fraudlent buyer (bid winner). Any bidder should have a good verifyable buyer record with eBay.
