My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each unit before it is offered for sale so I can give my first hand opinion of how each one runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am neither a mechanic nor do I operate a full service automotive facility. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description, read my terms & conditions and review each of the photos carefully BEFORE asking questions and BEFORE placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 2002 Jaguar S Type sedan. I would rate the exterior condition of this Jaguar to be BELOW AVERAGE for the age and mileage of this vehicle. Overall, she doesn't look too bad. The worst is some minor damage at the right headlight on both the fender and bumper cover. There are also a few minor chips, scratches, ect... which fall more into the category of normal wear. All of the glass appears to be intact. The alloy wheels show well and the tires have good tread (except the front right looks a little rough). There are parking distance sensors in the rear bumper. I would rate the interior condition of this Jaguar to be AVERAGE for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door cards are clean and tight. The carptes show well for their age. The headliner is sagging in the rear as most older Jags do. The seats show well and are comfortable. The front seats are power operated and heated. The drivers window will need a new regulator. The other three windows work properly as do the power locks, sunroof and remote entry. The stereo is the original equipment which sounds good. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The original owners books are included. The trunk is spacious and clean. Mechanically, this Jaguar will need some work before she can be put into regular service. I'll get the bad out of the way right away. These vehicles are known for an issue in their wiring harness which causes it to get damaged and cause transmission issues. What that means, in plain English, is that this car only has "park" and "drive". It will not engage reverse and it is very hard to find neutral. This is not an issue with the transmission itself. When you move the gear selector, it imputs a signal through the transmission range sensor (which tells the computer which setting you select...P,N,D,4,3,2,1) and computer to tell the solenoids in the transmission what to do. The damage to the harness prevents the signal from being properly communicated so the transmission doesn't know what to do. Again, the problem is not in the transmission itself. However, this can be labor intensive to fix depending on where the harness is damaged. If you cannot fix this yourself, please consult with your mechanic BEFORE you bid so you know what you're getting into first. That being said, this car does run and drive...and can be driven basically anywhere as long as you think ahead and don't park yourself anywhere you can't drive strait through. The engine starts easily with a jump and runs smoothly. You will need to replace the battery. I did not notice any leaks and the engine appears to run smoothly. The front bushings feel thin and make a little noise which is common for an older Jaguar. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this vehicle with no problems. The engine makes proper power and keeps a steady temperature. The transmission does engage smoothly and shift properly going forward. She cruises easily down the highway. I would prefer that this car be towed but it can be driven. I've driven it on a few occasions without issue. You just have to be careful to not pull nose in anywhere. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. When you move the gear selector, it imputs a signal through the transmission range sensor (which tells the computer which setting you select...P,N,D,4,3,2,1) and computer to tell the solenoids in the transmission what to do. The damage to the harness prevents the signal from being properly communicated so the transmission doesn't know what to do. Again, the problem is not in the transmission itself. However, this can be labor intensive to fix depending on where the harness is damaged. If you cannot fix this yourself, please consult with your mechanic BEFORE you bid so you know what you're getting into first. That being said, this car does run and drive...and can be driven basically anywhere as long as you think ahead and don't park yourself anywhere you can't drive strait through. The engine starts easily with a jump and runs smoothly. You will need to replace the battery. I did not notice any leaks and the engine appears to run smoothly. The front bushings feel thin and make a little noise which is common for an older Jaguar. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this vehicle with no problems. The engine makes proper power and keeps a steady temperature. The transmission does engage smoothly and shift properly going forward. She cruises easily down the highway. I would prefer that this car be towed but it can be driven. I've driven it on a few occasions without issue. You just have to be careful to not pull nose in anywhere. Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If contact has not been established and arrangments are not made within 4 days of auction close, we reserve the right to open an unpaid item case with eBay and sell the vehicle to someone else.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is not accepted for payment. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.

The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work, including temp tags, in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
