what you are looking at is a 1972 chevy chevelle malibu with it's original paint. This was my Dad's baby and as far as I know it was never in an accident and it was garage kept. After his passing I took the car and left it in my garage. this car is in good condition and runs like a top. My dad changed the engine to a 307 cu. inch v8 and it only has 16,206 miles on it. Everything else is original and I know that the mice got to the interior roof lining which will need to be replaced.(see picture). The paint is 40yrs old and will need work,the only spots that I can see rust is where the paint has cracked or chipped and it is just surface rust, vinyl roof is in great shape with no blemishes. Original dash and air conditioning. There is a crack in the front windshield, and a scrap along the front passanger wheel crome molding. This car has passed NYState inspection in the past, last inspection was March 2011. It will need to be put on a flat bed and taken to it's next home, this will be the responsibility of the winning bid. Yes once again the car runs but can not put it on the street because of inspection. Added more pictures of trunk without the carpet so not to hide surface rust and some of underside.
