If you are looking for a fun car to drive, this is it! I'm selling my 2004 Mitsubishi Evolution VIII GSR. The Evolution was first sold in the States in 2003, and one of the rarest colors was "Blue by you," the color of this car. I have owned this car since it had about 6,000 miles on it and it has been incredibly reliable, not to mention an outstanding daily driver. The car now has about 109,700 miles on it, most of which are from driving between Chicago and Wisconsin (freeway miles). I have been very careful to properly maintain this vehicle and it shows. The car is lightly, and tastefully, modded in perfect working condition, and is ready to go! Modifications: HKS Racing suction cold air intake B&M Short throw shifter Radio relocation kit Stock boost gauge, volt meter, and oil temp gauge (not connected, no sender) HKS Turbo timer Alpine CD player with direct iPod / iPhone connection Brembo slotted and cross-drilled rotors, all wheels VIS racing carbon fiber trunk lid (painted to match the car) JDM Evo 7 tail lights Other than what is listed above, the car is stock. The out of the box performance on this vehicle is spectacular. There are a few rust spots/bubbling paint on the rear driver side door and one very small spot above the rear passenger side wheel well. I did my best to show the small issues in the pictures, but these spots are barely noticeable. There are also a few small blemishes on the rear bumper, specifically a small spot on the rear-passenger side where I kissed the garage. I was not able to get this to show well on the pictures. Aside from these blemishes, the car is in awesome condition. The above report shows that the car was in an accident in 2007. This accident was not major by any stretch of the imagination. A deer ran into the driver's side door. The door shell and side mirror were replaced and resprayed with OEM materials, but there are no signs of this accident remaining. Since I have owned this car, I have amassed a number of spare parts. Since I will no longer own the car, these additional parts will be included with the sale of the vehicle. It has treated me very well and has been fantastically reliable. The car is mechanically sound and I'm selling it because I do not have the time to give it the attention it deserves.
