Vehicle Detail
I can't tell you how much money I've spent on this car. So, I won't try. I will just say that it's waaaaay more than what I'm going to take for it. My wife just doesn't get to drive it enough to justify us not having the money that we need way more than the car. Here's a list of what I've had done for you followed by a list of what you'll still need to do. I..... Had the car repainted in June of 2010. It was Zambezi green when we got it. Now, as you can see, it's silver. It was taken all the way to the metal by a professional body shop. It wasn't a cheap, rush job. And, the paint still looks very good. Replaced the original wheels (which I still have and will include with the car) with the baby moons you see in the pics. Replaced the coil. Replaced all of the carpet. The battery is a year or so old. THE BIG DEAL was the AIR CONDITIONER we had installed. It's made by a company called I.C.E. in California. It looks very good and works well too. It was a must for our area of the country and cost around $3500 after installation. You still need to..... Replace the interior door panels. They have pulled away from the doors and the clips have pulled almost through the panels. Replace door seals/weather stripping. I replaced all of the exterior gaskets....doors, healight, tail lights, etc. when we repainted. I have the door seals that pulled away due to not using enough adhesive when putting the new ones in. Replace the kick plates inside the doors. They have some surface rust. Those will cost you about $60 each. Check the VERY SMALL oil leak coming from underneath. It has left a couple of 1 inch diameter specks on the garage floor. I think the seal at the drain may be leaking. Fix the fuel guage. Also..... The floor pans are VERY SOLID. There is a little rust on the undercarraige. Nothing I would be too concerned with, or I would have addressed it during the paint process. ALL IN ALL this is a very nice car and not far away from a really really nice car. We don't hesitate to drive it anywhere. You can check my feedback score. I'll shoot you straight. Please call with any questions. I'll answer to the best of my ability. 601-530-2037. THANKS for looking.
