Vehicle Detail
This is 1946 Willys CJ2A Jeep with a WWII Willys MB motor, Serail # MB393830, casting 638632W2A A 3-80. The jeep is running and has a clear title. I bought this jeep because it has a WWII Willys MB motor in it. I have WWII Jeeps and intended to use it as a spare (it runs perfect, no smoke and good oil pressure). My plan was to pull the WWII motor, rebuild a motor, install it and then sell the jeep. Time marches on and I eventually found another motor that I could use as a spare. The CJ2A comes with: CJ2A motor Serial # U48485; it turns freely and is early production (still has the oval pad); extra radiator; spare tire and mount; early soft top and some bows (never tried it on); other extra parts; has lots of original parts (i.e. right windshield, seats); no bondo, but has had sheet metal replaced; The frame is in great shape; it has some steel welded onto the frame horns for extra support; it has a WO 636 12 patent carb and Oakes air cleaner. I did the brakes last year and it has a new exhaust. The seats will need to be reupholstered, but I believe that they are original, backs and seats have springs. It also comes with an aluminimum hard top with doors; it's not perfect but I believe it can be restored. There is another metal top you can have also, but it's in rough shape (no picture). The Jeep has your typical drips but runs and shifts fine... it's 66 years old. It has 2 of the three original data plates on the dash (like that when I bought it). It has a T-90 transmission. Currently, it is setup for 12v. It is titled as a 1947 CJ2A, that was how I got it. Please email me with any questions you have. I can assist with loading. If someone outside the USA buys this, you are solely responsible for setting up the shipping and paperwork.Sold as is, no warranty is given or expressed as the jeep in 60+ years old. There is a $500 deposit required withing 48 hours. Full payment within 7 days. I can store the jeep for 14 days.
