A piece of automotive history is here for your bidding pleasure. The Mercedes 280 Sedan, Series W114 was considered one of the best and most reliable vehicles that Mercedes produced for an 8 year stretch. With the fantastic, fuel efficient and powerful inline 6cyl that produced 130HP and a top speed of 110mph tested on the famous Autobahn. Further performance specs gave the car a 0-60 speed of 13.3sec that was surprisingly impressive for the times. 1973 also marked the last year before the large bumpers and rubber moldings that were used. The spritely 3speed transmission shifted smoothly and gave you plenty of power during city drives or highway speeds.
This One Owner vehicle was acquired by the original owner in Oklahoma where it spent its entire life up till July of this year. Vehicle was treated to a new carburetor and newer set of tires installed. Vehicle retains it originality with the Deep Blue paint complimented well with the Cognac leather interior. If the payment is not a bank wire transfer, i.e., certified bank check or approved loan check, the title will only be released when all funds have cleared. We will assist buyers with whatever documents you will need to clear Canadian customs, but knowing exactly which documents are required by your home province are the buyers responsibility.
