You are bidding on a 1963 Triumph Spitfire that has very low mileage. The restoration was begun to be a nice driver quality car, but moving and no time to finish. This was the 2nd year for the Spitfire and is considered the MK I body style. These were good handling cars and represent one of the most under valued sports cars. This car has recieved numerous new parts that were purchsed for the restoration with many of which never being installed but included.The bows for the top are good and a nice usable soft top is included. Doors close very solid with a nice snap and the glass is all good in it. Car is still in storage and waiting for the next owner. New floor pans installed, trunk pans installed, both rear quarter panel bottoms installed, rocker panels installed, Original front bumper sent off and rechromed, many new rubber seals for glass, new upholstred seats, chrome trunk hinges installed. Gas tank removed, cleaned, lined, and reinstalled. Great car to finish and enjoy driving. The car has the original engine with SU side draft carbs, and was in good running condition prior to storage. The brakes have gone soft, and the fuel lines look dry. Please understand that some assembly is required, but it won't be like starting from scratch. I want about 40% of the investment back so I will pass on a deal. If you need more parts for it, I have a 1968 GT6 parts car that might be able to donate a few things. CALL WITH QUESTIONS. I cannot tell you what might be missing with any certainty. I know that you will need door panels, and headlight assemeblies. I have some DOUBLES of alot of parts because I have been collecting parts for it.
