My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am neither a mechanic nor do I operate a full service automotive facility. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description, read my terms & conditions and review each of the photos closely BEFORE asking questions and BEFORE placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1999 Subaru Legacy Outback wagon. The Subaru Outback needs no introduction. Its reputation as a reliable and capable vehicle is well known. I would rate the exterior of this Subaru to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for a vehicle of similar age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking vehicle. The red finish shows well for an older vehicle. The only rust on the body of this vehicle is a small bit under the paint of one of the rear fenders which is a common issue with these cars. Otherwise, there is no noteworthy damage to the exterior of this vehicle. All of the body lines line up well. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The finish on the alloy wheels isn't perfect but not bad. The tires are a matching set with deep tread all around. They are oversized which compliment the aggressive look of this Outback wagon. I would rate the interior of this Outback to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door panels are all clean and tight. The carpets show well and are full looking throughout. The seats show well and are comfortable. The headliner is clean and tight. The dash is in great shape and shows no cracks. The power windows, locks and mirrors all appear to be in good working condition. The stereo is the original factory equipment which sounds good. The climate control system appears to be in proper working condition. The original owners manual is included. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Subaru wagons are incredibly capable vehicles. They give the advantages and capabilities of a 4x4 SUV with the comfort, handling and fuel economy of a car. Mechanically, this Outback wagon appears to be in good running and driving condition. I happen to have some history with this vehicle. Please read this and the last paragraph very carefully. The 2.5L boxer engine starts easily and runs well. The engine does not smoke and I did not see any leaks. The engine keeps proper temperature at all times. There is a check engine light on for rear oxygen sensors and the evap canister (which is a common issue with these cars). There is an audible exhaust leak so the exhaust will need repaired or replaced. I'm guessing the exhaust leak is giving an inaccurate reading at the rear oxygen sensor which is causing the error code. The suspension feels tight. The steering is neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this wagon with no issues. Out on the highway, it cruises nice and strait with no vibrations or pulling. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. The title on this vehicle is branded as NOT ACTUAL MILES. I purchased this vehicle roughly one year ago. The title read "not actual miles" when I purchased it. The odometer read 57,XXX miles at that time. If you look at the AutoCheck, you can see that the mileage has never gone backwards...or even stayed flat. From what I can see on the AutoCheck report, it got marked as "not actual miles" when it was on a PA title and got traded in at a dealership in Maryland. PA titles have two little check boxes under the odometer section. The first option to check is "exceeds mechanical limits" and the second option to check is "not actual mileage". If I were to GUESS, I'd say that the dealer in MD wrote in the mileage and checked the second box without reading it just because the first box wasn't applicable...when he should have checked neither. I've seen this happen before. Completing out of state titles can sometimes be confusing as they are all different. Regardless, once a title is branded it cannot be changed...ever. That's why every title from then on reads "not actual mileage". If I were to GUESS, I would guess that the mileage on the odometer is accurate because there is no evidence of odometer tampering if you look back through the AutoCheck report. However, it must be sold as "not actual mileage" because that is how the title reads. I sold this car to a friend of mine a year ago. He lives in York and works as a fire fighter in Baltimore, MD. He wanted something he could put all of his gear in that would be reliable, economical and be able to get him to the fire station regardless of weather so this vehicle was perfect. He put around 20k miles on this car in the last year. The only trouble I know of that he had was a broken axle up front. He replaced both axles up front while it was apart. Otherwise, he put 20k trouble-free miles on this vehicle. He recently decided to buy a newer vehicle and asked if I would be interested in buying this back...which I did, no problem. Again...the title will read "not actual miles" because that cannot be changed once checked. Please go back through the AutoCheck report and make your own decision. From what I saw, I believe the mileage on the odometer to be accurate. I did not see anything suspicious on the AutoCheck. The mileage is steady and consistant throughout the entire history of this vehicle. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am neither a mechanic nor do I operate a full service automotive facility. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description, read my terms & conditions and review each of the photos closely BEFORE asking questions and BEFORE placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1999 Subaru Legacy Outback wagon. The Subaru Outback needs no introduction. Its reputation as a reliable and capable vehicle is well known. I would rate the exterior of this Subaru to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for a vehicle of similar age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking vehicle. The red finish shows well for an older vehicle. The only rust on the body of this vehicle is a small bit under the paint of one of the rear fenders which is a common issue with these cars. Otherwise, there is no noteworthy damage to the exterior of this vehicle. All of the body lines line up well. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The finish on the alloy wheels isn't perfect but not bad. The tires are a matching set with deep tread all around. They are oversized which compliment the aggressive look of this Outback wagon.
I would rate the interior of this Outback to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door panels are all clean and tight. The carpets show well and are full looking throughout. The seats show well and are comfortable. The headliner is clean and tight. The dash is in great shape and shows no cracks. The power windows, locks and mirrors all appear to be in good working condition. The stereo is the original factory equipment which sounds good. The climate control system appears to be in proper working condition. The original owners manual is included. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Subaru wagons are incredibly capable vehicles. They give the advantages and capabilities of a 4x4 SUV with the comfort, handling and fuel economy of a car.
Mechanically, this Outback wagon appears to be in good running and driving condition. I happen to have some history with this vehicle. Please read this and the last paragraph very carefully. The 2.5L boxer engine starts easily and runs well. The engine does not smoke and I did not see any leaks. The engine keeps proper temperature at all times. There is a check engine light on for rear oxygen sensors and the evap canister (which is a common issue with these cars). There is an audible exhaust leak so the exhaust will need repaired or replaced. I'm guessing the exhaust leak is giving an inaccurate reading at the rear oxygen sensor which is causing the error code. The suspension feels tight. The steering is neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this wagon with no issues. Out on the highway, it cruises nice and strait with no vibrations or pulling. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly.
The title on this vehicle is branded as NOT ACTUAL MILES. I purchased this vehicle roughly one year ago. The title read "not actual miles" when I purchased it. The odometer read 57,XXX miles at that time. If you look at the AutoCheck, you can see that the mileage has never gone backwards...or even stayed flat. From what I can see on the AutoCheck report, it got marked as "not actual miles" when it was on a PA title and got traded in at a dealership in Maryland. PA titles have two little check boxes under the odometer section. The first option to check is "exceeds mechanical limits" and the second option to check is "not actual mileage". If I were to GUESS, I'd say that the dealer in MD wrote in the mileage and checked the second box without reading it just because the first box wasn't applicable...when he should have checked neither. I've seen this happen before. Completing out of state titles can sometimes be confusing as they are all different. Regardless, once a title is branded it cannot be changed...ever. That's why every title from then on reads "not actual mileage". If I were to GUESS, I would guess that the mileage on the odometer is accurate because there is no evidence of odometer tampering if you look back through the AutoCheck report. However, it must be sold as "not actual mileage" because that is how the title reads. I sold this car to a friend of mine a year ago. He lives in York and works as a fire fighter in Baltimore, MD. He wanted something he could put all of his gear in that would be reliable, economical and be able to get him to the fire station regardless of weather so this vehicle was perfect. He put around 20k miles on this car in the last year. The only trouble I know of that he had was a broken axle up front. He replaced both axles up front while it was apart. Otherwise, he put 20k trouble-free miles on this vehicle. He recently decided to buy a newer vehicle and asked if I would be interested in buying this back...which I did, no problem. Again...the title will read "not actual miles" because that cannot be changed once checked. Please go back through the AutoCheck report and make your own decision. From what I saw, I believe the mileage on the odometer to be accurate. I did not see anything suspicious on the AutoCheck. The mileage is steady and consistant throughout the entire history of this vehicle. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If contact has not been established and arrangments are not made within 4 days of auction close, we reserve the right to open an unpaid item case with eBay and sell the vehicle to someone else.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is not accepted for payment. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
