My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle throuh one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I sell fresh trades from larger dealerships "as-traded" directly to the public. I personally road test each unit before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how each one runs and drives. Please keep in mind, as you read this description, that I am neither a mechanic nor do I operate a full service automotive facility. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description, read my terms & conditions and review each of the photos carefully BEFORE asking questions and BEFORE placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1998 Volvo V70. I've owned more of these Volvo's than I can count. They are simply great cars. They are very well built, reliable and extremely useful vehicles. I would rate the exterior of this vehicle to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The dark blue exterior of this Volvo shows well for an older vehicle. The paint shines well. All of the body panels line up properly and there is no damage present on the exterior of this vehicle. Please expect to find signs of wear normally associated with an older vehicle. On this unit specifically...there are small scratches, scuffs and chips on the nose and bumpers. Please see the photos. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in good rubber all around. All of the glass appears to be intact. I would rate the interior of this Volvo to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door panels are clean and only show minor pulling. The carpets are thick and show well for their age. The headliner is clean and tight. The leather seats show minor wear and are clean/comfortable. The dash is clean and shows no cracks. The power windows, locks, seat, sunroof and mirrors all appear to be in proper working condition. The climate control system is fully automatic and offers independent settings for the driver and passenger. It appears to be in good working condition. The air conditioner blows ice cold air, too. This V70 has the desirable winter package which adds headlight washers and heated front seats (which actually work). The cargo area is huge and the seats fold easily for additional room. The rear hatch doesn't stay up on its own anymore. Mechanically, this Volvo appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.4L five cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. The engine does not smoke and I didn't notice any leaks. Out on the road, this Volvo is a pleasure to drive. The suspension feels good. The brakes bring this wagon to a stop with no issues. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The engine keeps proper temperature at all times and there have been no warning lights on. The engine makes good power. Highway cruising is effortless. She cruises nice and strait at highway speeds. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. I'd drive this Volvo anywhere without a second throught. I think everyone should have one of these, haha. A good customer of mine just traded his pickup for another Volvo wagon I had. You can haul almost anything in them (except a full sheet of plywood...I tried) and get the comfort, feature, and fuel economy of a car rather than a cumbersome and poorly appointed truck. Vehicle Pick-up: Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility. Accepted Payment Methods: Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw. Paypal is not accepted for payment. This includes Bill Me Later. All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day. Bid Retractions/Changes: We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle throuh one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I sell fresh trades from larger dealerships "as-traded" directly to the public. I personally road test each unit before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how each one runs and drives. Please keep in mind, as you read this description, that I am neither a mechanic nor do I operate a full service automotive facility. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description, read my terms & conditions and review each of the photos carefully BEFORE asking questions and BEFORE placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1998 Volvo V70. I've owned more of these Volvo's than I can count. They are simply great cars. They are very well built, reliable and extremely useful vehicles. I would rate the exterior of this vehicle to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The dark blue exterior of this Volvo shows well for an older vehicle. The paint shines well. All of the body panels line up properly and there is no damage present on the exterior of this vehicle. Please expect to find signs of wear normally associated with an older vehicle. On this unit specifically...there are small scratches, scuffs and chips on the nose and bumpers. Please see the photos. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in good rubber all around. All of the glass appears to be intact.
I would rate the interior of this Volvo to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door panels are clean and only show minor pulling. The carpets are thick and show well for their age. The headliner is clean and tight. The leather seats show minor wear and are clean/comfortable. The dash is clean and shows no cracks. The power windows, locks, seat, sunroof and mirrors all appear to be in proper working condition. The climate control system is fully automatic and offers independent settings for the driver and passenger. It appears to be in good working condition. The air conditioner blows ice cold air, too. This V70 has the desirable winter package which adds headlight washers and heated front seats (which actually work). The cargo area is huge and the seats fold easily for additional room. The rear hatch doesn't stay up on its own anymore.
Mechanically, this Volvo appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.4L five cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. The engine does not smoke and I didn't notice any leaks. Out on the road, this Volvo is a pleasure to drive. The suspension feels good. The brakes bring this wagon to a stop with no issues. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The engine keeps proper temperature at all times and there have been no warning lights on. The engine makes good power. Highway cruising is effortless. She cruises nice and strait at highway speeds. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. I'd drive this Volvo anywhere without a second throught. I think everyone should have one of these, haha. A good customer of mine just traded his pickup for another Volvo wagon I had. You can haul almost anything in them (except a full sheet of plywood...I tried) and get the comfort, feature, and fuel economy of a car rather than a cumbersome and poorly appointed truck. Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If contact has not been established and arrangments are not made within 4 days of auction close, we reserve the right to open an unpaid item case with eBay and sell the vehicle to someone else.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is not accepted for payment. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, each bidder enters into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should they be the successful bidder. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle and have fully excercized their ability to complete any diligence needed prior to placing their bid. Please understand that each vehicle we sell is being sold exactly as it was traded, unless otherwise noted in the written description. The written description we provide is based soley on our observations of the vehicle during our road test and should not be taken as any kind of official mechanical inspection done by a certified inspection mechanic. We offer a unique way of purchasing a car but it does carry additional risk to the buyer when compared to buying a vehicle from a retail dealership that has been inspected and may carry a warranty. Please consider this when you decide if buying from us is something you feel comfortable with. We try to eliminate as much risk as possible for our buyers but cannot offer reconditioned, inspected vehicles for sale with NO RESERVE PRICE. We are happy to answer any questions from prospective buyers regarding our business or specific vehicles listed for sale and aim to make buying from us as trouble free as possible.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 administrative fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any transfer costs incurred by the purchaser. The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work, including temp tags, in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
