For Sale: 1986 Toyota Pickup truck. 4 cylinder 22r 2.4 engine and 5 speed manual transmission. AC equipped truck. Engine has had new timing chain, gears and tensioner, head shaved and cleaned up with new head gasket, as well as all new top end gaskets and head bolts. Many new parts including passenger front brake caliper, fuel and oil filters, fluids flushed and changed, new starter, brake booster (used), new brake master cylinder, new door locks and ignition cylinder. Carburetor was rebuilt last year. Truck has custom heavy duty bed with tool box and new taillights 33x12.50 tires still have tread left and are installed on 8" powder coated wheels. Will make a great farm truck, hunting truck, trash hauler, potential trail rig or daily driver with a little TLC (probably due for plug wires, cap, etc). No radio,small exhaust leak, fuel gauge does not work, driver rocker panel has rust, passenger fender has dents (floor pans, doors and rest of cab are fine) frame has been shortened and has several repaired sections (frame is solid and typical Toyota frame rust spots have been cut out and replaced with new). Clear title truck. 4 wheel drive works great and the clutch holds good. With exception of small exhaust leak, truck runs quiet. By no means is this a show truck, it is 26 years old and has lived those years as a truck. However it gets the job done with legendary 22r reliability. I've used it around my property to haul wood and it will carry a load with no problems. I'm sure I've missed a few small things, but let me state this again, since I'm sure there will be folks who expect a show truck at discount price... this is NOT a show truck but a good work truck.
