HONDA ST50 DAX 1970 - All original condition - ST50G K1, specially made for Germany in 1970. Very, Very rare. Imported. Up for auction is a 1970 Honda ST50 DAX. These ST50s are very rare import bikes that were never formally brought into or intended for the US market, but this bike was a rare and exclusive ST50 specially made for Germany in 1970. This bike was privately imported into the US many years ago by a well-to-do private motorcycle collector. I have yet to see one of these listed in the US for sale. The bike is very nice and is in "all original condition". The pictures will certainly speak for the condition of the bike. The motorcycle was in storage for years and will need some going through to prepare for riding, etc. The carb will need to be cleaned and fresh gas, new plug, etc. The bike is not running now, but will run with very little work. The existing carb will need to be cleaned or rebuilt. I am also including a new carb for the bike (as pictured) with the successful sale of the bike. We all know how easy it is to get these bikes running. So, I just wanted to be clear with that. One weekend of cleaning and tinkering and you will have an absolute rare jewel of a very fun and very collectable minibike, and one that will surely appreciate more than the 2/10ths of 1 percent that money market accounts are currently paying!
