Vehicle Detail

Bought from original owner here in Phoenix and then I had it professionally freshened up mechanically and touched up cosmetically. Had been sitting for years covered inside so I had all new brakes & lines, master cylinders rebuilt, oil, filters, tune up, points, new petcocks, tank cleaned inside, battery, etc. etc. I'm calling it a barn find as it was, but it has been cleaned up and mechanically refurbished as stated above. Now ready to ride and enjoy. 11,800 miles on odo. I added the new alloy Renthal low/fat bars for a sportier look but I have the original chromed 'buckhorn' style bars these came with from Triumph for all USA bikes and they are in great shape. New vintage style seat cover looks great. Beautiful bike that fires up first or second kick. All original everything on bike (other than bars & seat cover). Very nice chrome, and most alloy bits like side cases were polished. Paint on tank & side panels is beautiful. All original Lucas switches, lights, electrics work great with no issues. Like I said this was a great low mileage bike that just needed a refreshing from sitting for over 30 years. Titled in original owner's name ready to transfer to you. Last registered for use in 1979. I KEPT ALL OF THE ORIGINAL PARTS INCLUDING: Battery, brake lines, bars & risers, etc. Comes with BOTH vintage Haynes manual and ORIGINAL OWNER's MANUAL and ORIGINAL TOOLS. You get everything I have for this bike.Neat bike, and best of all it's LEFT SIDE SHIFT for all you guys like me who grew up riding Jap bikes and never learned to shift on the right. These were real hot-rods from Triumph back in the day. The twin Amal carbs have just been rebuilt and it is really quite quick for a 750. Here's a classic British bike you can ride every day. ONLY ISSUES I CAN FIND: Original Dunlops have plenty of tread left but are beginning to sidewall crack. Both chromed mufflers have slight dings in them from being stored and bumped into the last 30 years, and some chrome is just beginning to flake off left side exhaust tip. Rear master cylinder was rebuilt as stated above but is still not 100% in my opinion. Very spongy feel to rear brake but it does work. I bought another used master cylinder off of ebay (which will need rebuild) and that goes with the bike too. Original seat foam is soft and may need some reinforcing.Any and all questions feel free to call me -- Mike @ 623-465-0636Bike is located in New River, Arizona, 85087 just 30 miles north of downtown Phoenix. Easy on/off fwy for your shipper and I will cooperate with any shipping arrangements you make as I am retired and at home almost all the time.PAYMENT: $250 deposit through paypal withing 48 hours of auction close. Balance due via cash in person, personal check, bank wire transfer, etc. within 7 days of auction's end. I can store the bike for a month if necessary to help you while you arrange shipping. Bike does not leave my posession until all funds have cleared my bank. On Oct-30-12 at 08:55:03 PDT, seller added the following information: PLEASE NOTE the email Q's & A's BELOW.....there's lot's of good info there that I obviously forgot to include in the listing. PLEASE---- NO MORE EMAILS or PHONE CALLS asking me what I would take to end the listing. I AM LETTING this auction RUN IT'S COURSE all the way to the end at 7:00 PM PDT Friday evening. Any emails asking me this again will simply be deleted with no response. I will hang up the phone on you if you ask me that too. Not trying to be rude but it's getting a bit annoying. Obviously, when I listed with a $3,500 reserve (I told you it was low), this figure was reached quickly so please know now that the final and HIGH BID buys this bike. You guys will decide what it's worth to YOU by bidding to your own personal maximums. Thanks for understanding. I bought this bike and had it refurbished FOR MYSELF, so no corners were cut during that process. I was planning on riding it everyday so I wanted a safe, reliable, and good looking bike. But the reality is I have so many bikes and cars that I quickly realized that it was just going to sit around like almost everything else so that's the only reason as to why I have it for sale now. IS IT PERFECT? Of course not. Any used bike will need SOMETHING adjusted, tweaked, modified, or replaced BY YOU before you ride it. If somehow I have given the impression that this bike is without faults then please reconsider, because it's not. Bike is sold in used and as-is condition with no warrantees or guarantees offered by me. I can issue new buyer a bill of sale for ANY $$ AMOUNT you want if that helps you save some coin during registration in your state. You tell me how much $$. Thanks for all the interest in this bike. I knew it was special when I found it and I guess I'm not the only one who thinks that. Good luck bidding as I know the new owner is going to really enjoy it.
