2004 Sherco 290 Trials Bike in very good condition. Bought 3 or 4 years ago and never rode very much. Had a knee injury that made trials riding difficult. The bike starts right up and runs strong. Tires are not new, but have good knobs and should last a long time. The tubeless rear tire has some plugs in the sidewall, but holds pressure and doesn't leak down. The bike is completely factory and is not modified or altered in any way as far as I can tell. There are no weld repairs or any need for them. Clutch is tight with no slipping from fully engaged. There is some play where the rear shock connects to the swingarm and will need bearings eventually. Not a high cost item. I had a Montesa 315r at the same time as the Sherco and the Sherco was a much better bike (and I've been a Montesa rider since the 1970's). The Sherco has more power and the weight seems to be distributed better. I would prefer local pickup, but if you need it shipped, I'll work with you. The buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements. I don't have a title for it (not needed in Alabama), but I can give you a bill of sale. The mileage is unknown, but ebay makes you enter something there. Please ask any questions you have.
