First off, this Jeep is awesome! What you are looking at is an off-roading machine built essentially from the ground up with durability and quality baked in from the offset. Up for sale is a 1978 Jeep CJ7 with just under 70,000 miles on the odometer. This Jeep has a rebuilt t-18-1b transmission (6.32 to 1 - Granny gear) and AMC 360 V8 engine, each having less than 5,000 miles on them. The transmission feels smooth and tight just like the shifting. The jeep comes with two sets of off-roading lights and a custom designed roll cage. The exhaust is an all stainless steal FLOPRO performance exhaust system and the shock mounts are reinforced. There is a dual battery system under the hood as well as a new ignition system and belts. The Jeep was professionally painted in July of this year with a black finish with a very nice prism effect when viewed in natural sunlight; the roll cage and winch support are matte black (there is not currently a winch attached). The Jeep starts right up every time and it runs and drives great! Very powerful engine, tight transmission and clutch. You can expect this Jeep to fire right up, drive down the road, onto the trail, over the rocks and through the woods without issues. This Jeep features: A custom full roll cage, full hard doors, soft half doors, a hard top, rhino lining on the inside of the Jeep, a CB radio and large antenna, five 37" off-road tires, KC off-road lights, a new windshield, dual batteries, new ignition system, custom seats with harness system, diamond plated dashboard and read corner panels, a manual 5 speed transmission (four forward gears and one reverse) disc brakes all around (4), a custom storage compartment in the rear of the Jeep and of course four wheel drive (2H, 4H and 4L). All in all this Jeep is clean and has very little surface rust at all. With that being said, this is a vehicle from 1978 and has some cosmetic issues as one would expect such as dings and dents throughout the body, please see all of the pictures. The front axle is a Dana 44 the rear axle is a Ford 9". There is a locker on the rear and wheel locks on the front. The transfer case is a Dana 20. The body was is good+ condition prior to Maaco painting it. The Jeep seats two with a brand new full sized spare tire occupying the rear. The windshield wipers don't work, and the fuel gauge does not work. The speedometer, oil pressure , volts meter and temperature gauges all work. I hate to see my Jeep go, I am selling it because I have medical bills piling up and unfortunately due to the circumstances I have to make this tough choice - my loss is your gain.
