Here's a freshly retired 2008 Crown Vic Police Interceptor. Owned since new by the Valley City, ND Police Department, this car has been serviced regularly, usually by the Ford Dealership where it was purchased. The body is straight and rust-free, showing no signs of body or paint work. There are a couple of rubber-plugged utility holes (one in the trunk and one in the roof...see photos), and some light scratches and very minor dings commensurate with a 150,000 mile car, but it shines up nicely and is very presentable overall. All police department markings and equipment have been removed. The interior is clean and odor-free. The carpet and upholstery is in excellent condition with only the driver's seat showing the slightest bit of wear on the seating surface and a couple of wear-holes on the BACK side of the seat where it rubbed against the cage. The front seats are covered with factory-installed removable, extra-durable police car fabric and the rear seat is vinyl. The driver's side floormat was worn through and has been discarded. The car has never been smoked in and the ash tray assembly is missing. The oversized police-package interior light and the cowl-mounted spotlight remain in the car. The 4.6 Liter Police Interceptor V-8 starts easily, idles smoothly and provides remarkable fuel economy with all the power you'd ever desire! The transmission shifts smoothly and crisply with no slipping, hesitation or noise. The brake pads were recently replaced and all drivetrain / mechanical systems work as they're supposed to, providing total roadworthiness. The cruise control, A/C, heater, wipers, radio, CD player, power seats & mirrors, etc. all work exactly as they're supposed to. This well-maintained 2008 Crown Victoria will provide someone with very dependable, very comfortable, economical transportation for miles and miles to come!
