My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I buy fresh trades from larger dealers and sell them directly to the public "as-traded". I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give my first hand opinion of how each unit runs and drives. Please keep in mind as you read this description that I am neither a mechanic nor do I operate a full service automotive facility. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description, read my terms & conditions and review each of the photos carefully BEFORE asking questions and BEFORE placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2002 Saturn SL1. As you probably know, the 2002 model year was the last year of the original Saturn S-Series vehicles. From 2003 on, Saturn began slowly being sucked into GM and their vehicles became re-badged versions of other vehicles made by General Motors both domestic and foreign. This marked the beginning of the end for the Saturn brand. I would rate the exterior condition of this SL1 to be BELOW AVERAGE for the age and mileage of this vehicle. Overall, this is a good looking car. There are some scratches and marks here and there as you would expect to find on an older vehicle but nothing bad. What pulls this vehicle down into the "below average" group is that there is visible front end damage. Obviously, the hood is damaged. Although the right headlight is not broken, it appears as if the bracket that keeps it in place is broken. I've been driving the car this way for a few days. The hood will stay closed on the safety latch but does not close all the way. I've had it out on the highway a few times with no issues. The safety latch is designed to keep the hood from flying up in the event that it is not latched properly. However, I would have it fixed if I were keeping the vehicle long term. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The wheel covers show well and the tires have average tread all around. Again, not bad overall. I would rate the interior of this Saturn to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door panels are all clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The headliner shows well...not all saggy like most Saturn's get. The seats look fine and are comfortable to drive in. The trunk is spacious and clean. The stereo is the original equipment with optional CD which powers up and sounds good. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The air conditioner may need charged or serviced for next season. It is kind of hard to tell whether or not it is effective this time of year. The interior of this vehicle is pretty basic...nothing much to go on and on about...nothing to break either. Mechanically, this Saturn appears to be in good running and driving condition. The gas-sipping 1.9L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. The engine does not smoke and I did not see any leaks. Other than the front bushings feeling like they need replaced, I don't really have anything bad to say about this vehicle mechanically. The steering is neutral and responsive. The brakes stop the vehicle well. The suspension feels fine. Out on the highway, she drives nice and strait. The engine keeps good temperature and there have been no warning lights on. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. If you're in the market for s simple and reliable vehicle that can get nearly 40mpg on the highway, look no further than the Saturn S-Series. I buy and sell dozens of these vehicles each year. They are the last of an extinct breed of vehicles...before cars got way too complicated and you needed a college degree to change your oil. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility. Accepted Payment Methods: Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw. Paypal is accepted for the initial deposit only...not the balance. This includes Bill Me Later. All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $5/day. Bid Retractions/Changes: We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I buy fresh trades from larger dealers and sell them directly to the public "as-traded". I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give my first hand opinion of how each unit runs and drives. Please keep in mind as you read this description that I am neither a mechanic nor do I operate a full service automotive facility. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description, read my terms & conditions and review each of the photos carefully BEFORE asking questions and BEFORE placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2002 Saturn SL1. As you probably know, the 2002 model year was the last year of the original Saturn S-Series vehicles. From 2003 on, Saturn began slowly being sucked into GM and their vehicles became re-badged versions of other vehicles made by General Motors both domestic and foreign. This marked the beginning of the end for the Saturn brand. I would rate the exterior condition of this SL1 to be BELOW AVERAGE for the age and mileage of this vehicle. Overall, this is a good looking car. There are some scratches and marks here and there as you would expect to find on an older vehicle but nothing bad. What pulls this vehicle down into the "below average" group is that there is visible front end damage. Obviously, the hood is damaged. Although the right headlight is not broken, it appears as if the bracket that keeps it in place is broken. I've been driving the car this way for a few days. The hood will stay closed on the safety latch but does not close all the way. I've had it out on the highway a few times with no issues. The safety latch is designed to keep the hood from flying up in the event that it is not latched properly. However, I would have it fixed if I were keeping the vehicle long term. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The wheel covers show well and the tires have average tread all around. Again, not bad overall.
I would rate the interior of this Saturn to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door panels are all clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The headliner shows well...not all saggy like most Saturn's get. The seats look fine and are comfortable to drive in. The trunk is spacious and clean. The stereo is the original equipment with optional CD which powers up and sounds good. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The air conditioner may need charged or serviced for next season. It is kind of hard to tell whether or not it is effective this time of year. The interior of this vehicle is pretty basic...nothing much to go on and on about...nothing to break either.
Mechanically, this Saturn appears to be in good running and driving condition. The gas-sipping 1.9L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. The engine does not smoke and I did not see any leaks. Other than the front bushings feeling like they need replaced, I don't really have anything bad to say about this vehicle mechanically. The steering is neutral and responsive. The brakes stop the vehicle well. The suspension feels fine. Out on the highway, she drives nice and strait. The engine keeps good temperature and there have been no warning lights on. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. If you're in the market for s simple and reliable vehicle that can get nearly 40mpg on the highway, look no further than the Saturn S-Series. I buy and sell dozens of these vehicles each year. They are the last of an extinct breed of vehicles...before cars got way too complicated and you needed a college degree to change your oil. Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is accepted for the initial deposit only...not the balance. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $5/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
