this car has been in CA it's entire life. The only rust issues were the front section of the cargo area floor. this area was repaired with new sheet metal. Interior & exterior were redone in original colors. Conv. top is new. Bumpers have been rechromed. All lights work. Brakes were gone through {has 4 wheel disc brakess} & work well,, don't pull. Seems to have plennty of clutch left {{I havve a new disc that will come with the car}. Comprression test showed all 4 cylinders within 10 lbs of 140. Gas tank was cleaned and lines flushed. Starts everry time. Shifts smooth through all 4 gears. Heater, defogger, horn & wipers all work. Most of the trim is in excellent shape,, although some things show some minor pitting,{ie. exterior door handles & wing window frames.} Unfortunatley I was unable to track down the hardtop that came with this car originally. I have found that they are easily found on line ranging from $100-500. It seems that more of the tops survived than cars did! Hardware to secure the hardtop is still on the car. Glass is all good with only some minor blemmishes, Tires all hold air. Fronts have been replaced. I would replace the rears before driving it any distance. I bought this car about a year ago as a project. It has not been registered since 1994. I have the old registration forms dating back to 1967 & a clear CA title. The plates are the originals & stamped 1963. #'s all match.
