Vehicle Detail

Talk about a head turner...The few times I've driven this car, it starts a conversation @ every red light & stop...I've always been late to my destination due to the random conversation this car begins. This Riviera is a custom original color (Aquamarine) inside and out. The car runs and drives like a new car...Drive it across the country w/o a worry! The paint is a few years old & was done correctly.1. $1000 for 4 new Power Window motors & window film. 2. $1200 Power headlight door motor, windshield wiper motor & power antenna. 3. New dual exhaust from the manifolds back with turbo mufflers for a deep throaty exhaust note.New wheel bearings front and rear. New springs in rear. New brakes front and rear, New fuel pump, power steering pump and starter and hoses. 4. New floor & trunk carpeting. 5. New dome light covers, owners manual & lots of other trivial things. 6. Near new white wall tires (215/75/15) and the original Riviera wheels with original center caps. 7. Motor & Trans. Done in 96 w/reciepts.+ Countless hours/days detailing it & bringing up to my standards. I know the markets terrible, but I can't justify loosing money on a car this old & rare. Pros:Rust free west coast car...Not a spec of rust anywhere, and solid as a new car. Bone stock.Trunk is solid as are the floors and can pull up carpet to show.Detailed & garage kept.Receipts for everything. Cons/It needs:The A/C is cool, but not cold, The seats should be reupholstered & speedometer cable is broken...that's it! If it does meet the reserve, I will gladly recharge the A/C...I just can't see sinking more money into a car that I never use. You can pick it up, have it delivered or I will drive it to your house for the price of gas & a train ticket home. Not my choice to sell it, but I'm trying to avoid renting a garage to keep it in. This may answer some other questions you have: 1. As for the mileage...the odometer doesn't turn b/c of the speedo cable, but I've put less than 300 miles on it since I've had it...The MO was spotless when I changed it & the last owner told me she rarely used it...It's probably got less than 67K on the new drive train, but I'm guessing. 2. The door panels, headliner, dash pad & carpet are perfect. The wood trim on the console looks aged, but I knit pick. The body is laser straight & I couldn't tell it was a repaint before I looked @ the receipt...& again, I'm picky. 3. I believe it's a 4 wheel drum setup, but again...I'm guessing...whatever the are, the pedals tight & it has good stopping power. I've invested $9600 in the car since I bought it on May 2010, but I'm light on storage space & never use it, so here it is.On Oct-23-12 at 14:03:21 PDT, seller added the following information: So far the auction seems to be going well...I had a Clarion stereo w/remote iPod access, bluetooth custom mounted in the glovebox & wired to 4 Pioneer speakers on the rear deck. Also had a Viper Alarm & remote power door locks installed. If the auction continues @ a good pace, I'll leave these extras in it...I was gonna remove them.
