My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I bring fresh trades from larger dealers directly to the public "as-traded". I take the time to personally road test each unit before it is offered for sale so I can give my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Plesae keep in mind as you read this description that I am neither a mechanic nor do I operate a full service automotive facility. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description, read my terms & conditions and review each photo in detail BEFORE asking questions and BEFORE placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1999 Ford F-150 XLT 4x4 with the more desirable 4.6L V8 engine. The Ford F Series needs no introduction...they are the best selling truck for a reason. I would rate the exterior of this truck to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for a pick up of this age and mileage. From a few feet, this is a great looking truck. The white finish shines well and is accented by a matching cap and polished alloy wheels. This truck looks to have been used as a work truck...and from what I can tell, the work involved painting things. The bad news is, there is random paint on the exterior (and interior) of the truck. The good news is, I've been screwing with it on and off and it looks like it will all come off and not damage the factory finish below. I went at it with mostly my finger nail but that would take forever. I'm sure there is some compound that will be able to get it off faster without damaging the factory finish if you want to do that. All in all, it doesn't look that bad. There is no body damage to report. The only rust I could see is some on the underside of the doors which isn't bad for an older F-150. The topper looks to be in good shape and has a ladder rack, too. The polished alloys look good and are wrapped in decent rubber. The chrome trim on the exterior looks good, too. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. I would rate the interior of this truck to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for a truck of this age and mileage. Again, there is some random paint on the inside around the door handle and buttons...pretty much imaging getting in with wet paint on your hands and going about your business. Just like the outside, the paint does come off with minimal effort. Being an XLT trim, this is a fairly well optioned truck. It has power windows, locks, seat and mirrors...all of which appear to be working properly. The seats were covered when I purchased the truck. Under the covers were a nicely preserved set of seats. The stereo is the original equipment which sounds good. The climate control system is also original. The fan only blows on "hi" setting which means the little metal resistor clip ($20) needs replaced. The air conditioner blows ice cold air. The heat doesn't really get hot...no idea why. I have another F Series (same year) and the heat doesn't get really hot on that one either. Maybe I'm doing something wrong...but I doubt you need a college degree to turn the heater on. The core is not bypassed and appears to not be leaking. This truck has storage behind the seats as well as a sliding rear window that has a pass-through into the bed area. Mechanically, this truck appears to be in good running condition. The tried and true 4.6L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. This appears to be a two owner truck. The glove compartment is literally crammed with service records going back to when the mileage was in the 70k range...all having the same owner. It looks like this truck has had the same owner for the last 150k miles and it was properly cared for. The front end is nice and tight. The suspension feels good. The steering is neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this truck with no issues. Out on the highway, she cruises with no complaints. It drives at 80mph strait as an arrow. The engine keeps proper temperature and good oil pressure. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. The 4WD system is tested and working. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility. Accepted Payment Methods: Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw. Paypal is accepted for the initial deposit only...not the balance. This includes Bill Me Later. All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $5/day. I would rate the exterior of this truck to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for a pick up of this age and mileage. From a few feet, this is a great looking truck. The white finish shines well and is accented by a matching cap and polished alloy wheels. This truck looks to have been used as a work truck...and from what I can tell, the work involved painting things. The bad news is, there is random paint on the exterior (and interior) of the truck. The good news is, I've been screwing with it on and off and it looks like it will all come off and not damage the factory finish below. I went at it with mostly my finger nail but that would take forever. I'm sure there is some compound that will be able to get it off faster without damaging the factory finish if you want to do that. All in all, it doesn't look that bad. There is no body damage to report. The only rust I could see is some on the underside of the doors which isn't bad for an older F-150. The topper looks to be in good shape and has a ladder rack, too. The polished alloys look good and are wrapped in decent rubber. The chrome trim on the exterior looks good, too. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact.
I would rate the interior of this truck to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for a truck of this age and mileage. Again, there is some random paint on the inside around the door handle and buttons...pretty much imaging getting in with wet paint on your hands and going about your business. Just like the outside, the paint does come off with minimal effort. Being an XLT trim, this is a fairly well optioned truck. It has power windows, locks, seat and mirrors...all of which appear to be working properly. The seats were covered when I purchased the truck. Under the covers were a nicely preserved set of seats. The stereo is the original equipment which sounds good. The climate control system is also original. The fan only blows on "hi" setting which means the little metal resistor clip ($20) needs replaced. The air conditioner blows ice cold air. The heat doesn't really get hot...no idea why. I have another F Series (same year) and the heat doesn't get really hot on that one either. Maybe I'm doing something wrong...but I doubt you need a college degree to turn the heater on. The core is not bypassed and appears to not be leaking. This truck has storage behind the seats as well as a sliding rear window that has a pass-through into the bed area.
Mechanically, this truck appears to be in good running condition. The tried and true 4.6L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. This appears to be a two owner truck. The glove compartment is literally crammed with service records going back to when the mileage was in the 70k range...all having the same owner. It looks like this truck has had the same owner for the last 150k miles and it was properly cared for. The front end is nice and tight. The suspension feels good. The steering is neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this truck with no issues. Out on the highway, she cruises with no complaints. It drives at 80mph strait as an arrow. The engine keeps proper temperature and good oil pressure. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. The 4WD system is tested and working. I would drive this truck anywhere without hesitation. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is accepted for the initial deposit only...not the balance. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $5/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction.
