My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of buying a vehicle. Most of the vehicles I sell are traded at larger dealerships or expired inventory from retail dealers. I personally road test each unit before it is offered for sale so I can give my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind as you read this description that I am neither a mechanic nor do I operate a full service automotive facility. Please take the time to read this entire description carefully, read my terms & conditions and review each of the photos closely BEFORE asking questions and BEFORE placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 2000 Subaru Forester AWD that was a new car trade here in York. The Forester is a popular vehicle which shares many components with the popular Outback but has a more utilitarian angle. I would rate the exterior condition of this Forester to be AVERAGE for the age and mileage of this unit. As you can see, this car shows well for its age. The exterior would certainly benefit from a thorough cleaning to looks its best. There is no visible damage to the exterior of this Forester. There are a few small rust spots around the rear window but nothing bad for the age and mileage of this unit. The wheels show well and are wrapped in newer rubber all around. The windshield is cracked and may need replaced depending on your states inspection laws. All of the other glass is intact as are the lights and lenses. I would rate the interior condition of this Subaru Forester to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, the interior shows very well. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well for their age. The cargo area is spacious and clean. The rear hatch struts are weak and do not hold up the tail gate. The headliner is clean and tight. The seats show well for their age and are comfortable. This Forester is equipped with power windows, locks and mirrors...all of which appear to be in proper working condition. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The air conditioner blows ice cold air. The stereo system is original equipment with the optional factory CD player. Mechanically, this Forester appears to be in good running condition with one exception. The flat four cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension on this Forester feels good for the miles. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop the car easily. The engine makes good power and runs well. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. The AWD system is also working properly. At speed, there is a noise coming from the rear of the car. You could get lucky and it just needs a wheel bearing. However, my gut tells me that the noise is coming from the rear axle itself. I've heard worse. It will probably last another few months to a year+ depending on how much you drive and your driving habits. ...or it could be a $150 wheel bearing. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility. Accepted Payment Methods: Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw. Paypal is accepted for the initial deposit only...not the balance. This includes Bill Me Later. All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $5/day. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of buying a vehicle. Most of the vehicles I sell are traded at larger dealerships or expired inventory from retail dealers. I personally road test each unit before it is offered for sale so I can give my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind as you read this description that I am neither a mechanic nor do I operate a full service automotive facility. Please take the time to read this entire description carefully, read my terms & conditions and review each of the photos closely BEFORE asking questions and BEFORE placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 2000 Subaru Forester AWD that was a new car trade here in York. The Forester is a popular vehicle which shares many components with the popular Outback but has a more utilitarian angle. I would rate the exterior condition of this Forester to be AVERAGE for the age and mileage of this unit. As you can see, this car shows well for its age. The exterior would certainly benefit from a thorough cleaning to looks its best. There is no visible damage to the exterior of this Forester. There are a few small rust spots around the rear window but nothing bad for the age and mileage of this unit. The wheels show well and are wrapped in newer rubber all around. The windshield is cracked and may need replaced depending on your states inspection laws. All of the other glass is intact as are the lights and lenses.
I would rate the interior condition of this Subaru Forester to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, the interior shows very well. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well for their age. The cargo area is spacious and clean. The rear hatch struts are weak and do not hold up the tail gate. The headliner is clean and tight. The seats show well for their age and are comfortable. This Forester is equipped with power windows, locks and mirrors...all of which appear to be in proper working condition. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The air conditioner blows ice cold air. The stereo system is original equipment with the optional factory CD player.
Mechanically, this Forester appears to be in good running condition with one exception. The flat four cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension on this Forester feels good for the miles. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop the car easily. The engine makes good power and runs well. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. The AWD system is also working properly. At speed, there is a noise coming from the rear of the car. You could get lucky and it just needs a wheel bearing. However, my gut tells me that the noise is coming from the rear axle itself. I've heard worse. It will probably last another few months to a year+ depending on how much you drive and your driving habits. ...or it could be a $150 wheel bearing. Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is accepted for the initial deposit only...not the balance. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $5/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, each bidder enters into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should they be the successful bidder. Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 administrative fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any transfer costs incurred by the purchaser. The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
