My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next vehicle purchase. I specialize in bringing fresh trades from larger dealerships directly to the public "as-traded". I personally road test each unit before it is offered for sale so I can give my first hand opinion of how each vehicle runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am neither a mechanic nor do I operate a full service automotive facility. Each vehicle I sell is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description, read my terms & conditions and review each of the photos closely BEFORE asking questions and BEFORE placing a bid. Most of the questions we get are already answered in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1994 Volvo 850 sedan. I would rate the exterior condition of this Volvo to be AVERAGE for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a decent looking older Volvo. The finish shines well and there is no noteworthy damage to report on the exterior of this vehicle. Please expect normal wear associated with the age and mileage of this vehicle. The wheel covers are all intact. The tires show average tread all around. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. Please review each of the photos. I would rate the interior condition of this Volvo 850 to be AVERAGE for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door panels are all clean and tight. The carpets show well for the age of this vehicle. The seats are also in good condition for the age of this unit. On a side note, I actually prefer Saab and Volvo cloth over their leather. The cloth seats seem to "hug" you better...the leather you just kind of sit on (not in) if that makes any sense. Anyway, the interior is pretty standard for Volvo. This car is equipped with power windows, locks and mirrors...all of which are in good working condition. The stereo doesn't seem to do anything if memory serves me correctly. The climate control system appears to be in good working condition. The air conditioner blows cold air, too. The trunk is spacious and clean. The Volvo 850 is a pretty basic car that serves its purpose perfectly. It does everything you need quite well and nothing else. Mechanically, this Volvo appears to be in good running condition with one exception. The 2.4L n/a engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The engine keeps a good temperature at all times. The suspension feels tight all around. The steering has a slight pull but it's not bad. The brakes stop this sedan with no problems. Out on the highway, she gets along pretty well. The problem with this vehicle is in the transmission. For reasons that are a mystery to me, this Volvo appears to only have third and fourth gears. At first, I thought it was stuck in "safe mode" which keeps the vehicle in third gear. I had it up to about 50mph and it shifted into overdrive...so I don't know what to make of it. Naturally, it is sluggish off the line because of starting in third gear. Anything over 25mph and you'd never tell it had a problem. It gets down the highway at 80mph with no problems. If you do a lot of highway driving, it would appear that you could use the car this way indefinitely. I don't know if it will eventually get worse or not because I don't know what the problem is in the first place. I've been sitting on this car for a little while and it has been pretty consistant for me. Parts can't be too hard to find if you want to fix it. I've put around 100-150 miles on it so far. Like I said...it's not gonna win any drag races starting in third but it seems pretty content limping around like this. Out on the highway, it runs and drives like any other Volvo 850. Unfortunately, that's all I know about it. This car can be picked up in person and driven anywhere. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility. Accepted Payment Methods: Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw. Paypal is accepted for the initial deposit only...not the balance. This includes Bill Me Later. All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $5/day. Bid Retractions/Changes: We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1994 Volvo 850 sedan. I would rate the exterior condition of this Volvo to be AVERAGE for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a decent looking older Volvo. The finish shines well and there is no noteworthy damage to report on the exterior of this vehicle. Please expect normal wear associated with the age and mileage of this vehicle. The wheel covers are all intact. The tires show average tread all around. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. Please review each of the photos.
I would rate the interior condition of this Volvo 850 to be AVERAGE for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door panels are all clean and tight. The carpets show well for the age of this vehicle. The seats are also in good condition for the age of this unit. On a side note, I actually prefer Saab and Volvo cloth over their leather. The cloth seats seem to "hug" you better...the leather you just kind of sit on (not in) if that makes any sense. Anyway, the interior is pretty standard for Volvo. This car is equipped with power windows, locks and mirrors...all of which are in good working condition. The stereo doesn't seem to do anything if memory serves me correctly. The climate control system appears to be in good working condition. The air conditioner blows cold air, too. The trunk is spacious and clean. The Volvo 850 is a pretty basic car that serves its purpose perfectly. It does everything you need quite well and nothing else.
Mechanically, this Volvo appears to be in good running condition with one exception. The 2.4L n/a engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The engine keeps a good temperature at all times. The suspension feels tight all around. The steering has a slight pull but it's not bad. The brakes stop this sedan with no problems. Out on the highway, she gets along pretty well. The problem with this vehicle is in the transmission. For reasons that are a mystery to me, this Volvo appears to only have third and fourth gears. At first, I thought it was stuck in "safe mode" which keeps the vehicle in third gear. I had it up to about 50mph and it shifted into overdrive...so I don't know what to make of it. Naturally, it is sluggish off the line because of starting in third gear. Anything over 25mph and you'd never tell it had a problem. It gets down the highway at 80mph with no problems. If you do a lot of highway driving, it would appear that you could use the car this way indefinitely. I don't know if it will eventually get worse or not because I don't know what the problem is in the first place. I've been sitting on this car for a little while and it has been pretty consistant for me. Parts can't be too hard to find if you want to fix it. I've put around 100-150 miles on it so far. Like I said...it's not gonna win any drag races starting in third but it seems pretty content limping around like this. Out on the highway, it runs and drives like any other Volvo 850. Unfortunately, that's all I know about it. This car can be picked up in person and driven anywhere. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is accepted for the initial deposit only...not the balance. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $5/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions.
