This car is well optioned and clearly well cared for by its previous owner. It has the simple, reliable 3.8L V6 that is known for being easy to maintain. Overall this car is in excellent condition for the age, I really have nothing bad to say about it. The interior of this Regal is tan cloth and it is in excellent condition. The seats are comfortable and the driver’s seat is power adjustable. The upholstery looks good and does not have satins or unpleasant odors. The carpets and headliner are also in good condition and there is a full set of floormats. The dash and door panels show well and are firmly attached. The power windows, mirrors, and locks (with functioning remote) all work easily. The factory Concert Sound II stereo has factory CD player, an uncommon option in 96, and excellent sound quality. The stereo has steering wheel controls that work as they should. The A/C and heater both work well and this car is equipped with dual climate control, the front passenger has a separate temperature control so that that person can be warmer or cooler than the driver. The exterior of the Buick, as you can see in the pictures, is in very good condition. It does have a few of the normal small blemishes that come from use. The paint looks good and shines up nicely. All of the trim is present and firmly attached. The radial tires all have about half tread left. The mirror glass on the passenger side is missing. The rest of the glass and lights are all in good condition. Mechanically this Buick is in great shape. The 3800 Series II engine is the best engine GM put in a mid-size sedan in the 90s. This engine, with minor changes to improve emissions and mpg, was used for almost 20 years starting in the 80s and running well past 2000. They are simple to maintain and parts are inexpensive and plentiful. This engine runs excellently, as you would expect an under-100k mile engine to run. It is smooth and powerful and gets down the highway easily. The transmission shifts easily. There are no check engine lights. The Dynaride suspension is softy and floaty and soaks up bumps well. The ABS brakes stop the car quickly and easily. This car has a current PA annual safety and emissions inspection good through the end of June 2013 This is an excellent example of a well-kept, low mileage car. I always recommend a used Buick to someone that is looking for an inexpensive quality used car for a few simple reasons. Buicks had a high enough price tag that the people that bought them new (or nearly new) had the money and motivation to properly maintain them. They were well made with proven parts; unlike a Cadillac they were not fitted out with all sorts of fancy gadgets. And finally, most of them came with the excellent 3800 V6 engine. All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $5/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
We take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, each bidder enters into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should they be the successful bidder. The written description we provide is based soley on our observations of the vehicle during our road test and should not be taken as any kind of official mechanical inspection done by a certified inspection mechanic. We offer a unique way of purchasing a car but it does carry additional risk to the buyer when compared to buying a vehicle from a retail dealership that has been inspected and may carry a warranty. Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 administrative fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any transfer costs incurred by the purchaser. The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
