Nice clean great running and great driving Beemer, I love this car, the power, the speed, the comfort, but alas, I need to sell this one to pay for the rest of my flight training. Most everything works as it should, and is very clean inside and out, but it isn't perfect, it does have some typical wear from use inside and out, like small rock chips a door ding or two, etc, but no major issues as you'll see in the pictures. The Good: This car is a hoot to drive, very fast, very powerful. Its like driving a pony car but with 4doors, a great luxury ride and a super-quiet interior. The engine runs as smooth as a sewing machine and the transmission shifts perfectly every time. The germans definitely got it right on this one! I am the 3rd owner and have had it for a couple of years, the previous owner meticulously maintained the car as it was his day to day interstate transportation that he relied upon for his work. Only premium parts and fluids were ever used. Tires are in great shape, they are Bridgestone Turanza Serenity. They have about 3/4 life left in them and i have kept them rotated. Factory service manual ($$$) will be included with sale. The Bad: Here are the few things that aren't perfect with the car, the RH high beam head light is currently disconnected, this is due to a faulty mosfet in the Light Control Module, it is a common issue with these cars. I bought the car knowing that it had this issue, and bought the replacement mosfets (new owner gets the mosfets) but never got around to changing it as it really never was an bother. Recently the cruise control started to sometimes kick off, I really don't know why, the previous owned had told me about this when I first got the car I inspected and cleaned the cruise control system and it has worked fine. I suspect that the linkage may need lubed, I will try to look into that this week. There is sometimes a (very) slight shimmy in the front end under hard braking or acceleration, it isn't an alignment issue, it is at a specific speed and started when these tires were installed, because of this I don't think I would buy these tires again, under normal driving you don't see it, but it is there. And last but not least, if the car sits for more than 2 weeks, when you first start the engine there will be a tap from one of the lifters for a little bit until the oil pressure comes up, this has only ever happened to me once since I've owned the car but the previous owner had informed me of it so I knew about it ahead of time. Just trying to do the same for the next owner. The Ugly: Some of the LCD segments on the radio and dash displays are out, does not effect any functions, but just a little eye sore. The engine leaks a very little bit of oil from the valve cover gaskets, for that reason I did not degrease the engine compartment so that any potential owners could see how minor it is, but over time you will get an occasional drip of oil on the pavement. You are responsable for shipping but I'll gladly assist in any way I can. and I would like the car picked up within 2 weeks of auction completion, this is flexible, just ask.
