Just when I thought I had the nicest of the nice. I've used the term Minty and Superb before, but not loosely. But I can honestly bet my excellent feedback on this one....MINT. No, it's not car show MINT. But for a 12 year old with these miles? It's MINT. And a baby still. Barely even broken in! I listed the car as purple but it's actually that cool Blackberry color, just like the font color I tried to match. This was BOTH owner's baby. Im unaware of the specifics, but I'd be willing to say it was kept in the family. Beautiful shining paint. No signs of any bodywork or major repairs, altho I'm no bodyman. It truly is an excellent V40 specimen. This is about the 4th that I've had this year. People hold onto these for a reason. Loaded, quality and reliability. I don't get very many...DON'T LOSE OUT! The body is easily a 9.5 out of 10. Headlight wiper blade is gone. Front and rear bumper covers have minimal chips or scratches and absolutely no major damages or repairs. I can literally count on one hand the amount of dings on the car. No dents to be found. These cars are also prone to surface rust. I can't find any and the only suspect spot has been properly repaired with perfectly matching Volvo issued touchup paint, which you will receive with the car, just in case you need it! I didn't even know they made Uniroyal tires anymore!! My Dad used to love these! BRAND SPANKIN NEW TigerPaw tires. Not cheepies. Can't have more than about 500 miles on them. All Season that look ready for ANY weather! Matching at every corner, they ride on nice clean damage free and vibration free rims! Only a couple of Volvo center caps are missing. Brakes/rotors look recent as the tires. Super strong and pulse free. Suspension is tight and noise free. No slop. No unusual wandering or pulling. Below...look at that shine! All I did was wipe it off for pics. Even the vinyl looks great on the entire car. Minimal, if any, fading. Glass is perfect. Amazing. Below you can see the small repaired area. Nicely done, probably at home from the prior owner. As you know, THIS area is usually where the surface rust forms on the S40 and V40 lineup. Why? No mudflaps...like the 60, 70, and 80 series line. It's just a matter of rocks and debris flying up and chipping the paint away, leaving bare metal exposed. Over sight on Volvo's part is all. I'd honeslty say the interior is a 10 out of 10...but since I'm a nitpicker....far worse than my buyers....I'll pull a half point to 9.5. Why? Only a few tiny seat stains that will easily come out with OxyCleaner. And the overhead sun visor on the driver's side is loose. Otherwise....pick a spot and eat off it...SOooo clean. I hate smoke. I can NOT find a single sign or scent of a prior smoker. No animals or anything. As you can see above...ALL the dummy lights come on during startup with NONE on during run. EVERYTHING Power works as it should. Power driver's seat. BOTH heated. Climate control, ICE COLD AIR CONDITIONING, heat, info panel, locks, sunroof, Cruise, windows, etc. No worries. Did you notice the factory installed "Warning" tags still installed in the passenger area? Rear seating looks never sat in. Complete spare setup is intact. Outside a small light faded area in the trunk carpet, it's perfect....anndddd.... ...how about these BUILT-IN BOOSTER SEATS!?! How awesome is it that you won't need to lug the loose fitting booster seat from car to car anymore?? Hidden so well, your teens friend's won't even notice. Below you can see the factory manuals with some records history. Also note the Volvo issued touchup paint. Car comes with only one key and one working keyfob. Super clean engine compartment. Not all greased up with shiney shine. Engine starts up easily with the recent strong BOSCH battery. New Autolite Double Platinums were installed. All fluids are clean with no signs of any major oil or coolant leaks. Car doesn't overheat. Air Conditioning is ICE COLD. Transmission shifts perfectly in every gear. Car drives straight and smooth. Since it's due to be performed(and stored a code for cam timing-indicative of a stretched timing belt), I'm installing a NEW Contitech TIMING BELT along with the proper timing date tag. This saves you hundreds of dollars in the near future or thousands if you left it to break! This car will truly NEED NOTHING except you to put gas in it and keep the oil changed! BID, BUY, and DRIVE ANYWHERE with 100% CONFIDENCE!!! I've personally driven this car for over 100 miles to ensure it's reliability and inspected it for needed repairs. Check my excellent feedbacks!
