Vehicle Detail

Im helping a friend sell his 911 T Porsche. He is the origional owner, purchased it in 1972. He drove this car until 1980 and then parked it in his garage. it has not been moved or started since then. The body seems to be in REAL good condition. there is a little surface rust at the bottom of the headlights. I glanced under it, it looks very solid, it looks as it was origionally undercoated. The car was running when he parked it. We dont kow what this car is worth. so we have set the reserve to see where it will go. Thanks for looking. Email me any questions. There is a clean title, the owner is looking for it. MikeOn Oct-20-12 at 11:52:01 PDT, seller added the following information: Someone emailed me that this car is actually a 1973. since it was built in late 1972, makes since. We are going to let the auction/bidding run for the full length. On Oct-21-12 at 13:54:38 PDT, seller added the following information: The owner and I pulled the car outside and gave her a wash. I jacked up both sides and looked at the underbelly. The only place that I saw rust was a small 2" long crack near the jacking point on the right side. There is a small area of rust at the rear of the rocker panel where the threshole aluminum strip is on both sides (look at the pictures). There is rust in the left front fender near the radio antena. A few chips in the paint in the hood. The brakes are dragging so we pulled it up a hill with another vehicle. then at the top of the hill rolled it down and placed the transmission in 5th gear, we still had to push it down the hill, the engine seemed to turn over easily. Again we had to push hard to get the car to roll. The clutch seemed to be stuck to the flywheel. I added 13 pictures I hope this will answer all of your questions. It cleaned up very nicely. Im not a Porsche guy, but have performed a lot of body work on hobby cars in my days. This car seems very solid to me.
