1972 OLDSMOBILE 98 LS 2 DOOR HARDTOP RARE UNRESTORED ORIGINAL 63,000 MILES DRIVE ANYWHERE! Thanks for looking at my 1972 Oldsmobile 98. I've owned and enjoyed this vehicle since 2005, but a growing family and shrinking garage space have led me to offer it for sale. Let me be clear: this car is absolutely as nice in person as it is in the photos you see here. And it drives even better than that. Quite frankly, for the money, I'll never have another classic that is this nice cosmetically or that I can count on to run and drive as well. In addition, it's nice to have a classic that performs as reliably as and has the comforts of a new car. Mechanically, it is turn-key ready; Goodyear tires have less than 5,000 miles on them. The air conditioning blows ice cold. The radiator and water pump were recently replaced, as was the dual exhaust. As mentioned, to my eye, the paint is original, with only a few stone chips on the header and at the lower quarters on both sides. There is no rust anywhere; the bottoms of the doors, the decklid, the floors, the fenders -- everything is dry and clean. This car's life has been spent in the midwest -- Missouri, Iowa, and Michigan -- but does not appear to have seen any winters over that time. It certainly hasn't during my ownership. Options include dual power seats, factory air conditioning, vinyl top, deluxe wheel covers, power windows, and am/fm radio.
