1953 dodge job rated pickup,6 inch chopped top which needs glass in the front and sides only.i dont have the money to finish it but the glass guy said 375 to cut it ...its all flat glass and wont be a problem.needs some finish welding on the chop and the cab floor and needs a bed floor......has a 89 dodge dakota chassis with a v6 auto that runs good .the truck drives good steers good and rides good even though its low the chassis isnt lowered but the cab is channelled about six inches.the front fenders were sectioned too to steer that low and it looks cool,they also need bodywork or leave as is .....the truck has an awesome look ....it kills me to get rid of it but i ran out of money........oh and recently the trans sticks in first till it gets warm but then shifts fine....prolly needs a filter change and the reverse band needs adjusting.....very easy....also comes with a good used 727 tgranny just in case or you could put a dakota 5 speed in very easily.....also has an aluminum radiator and decent wide whites with steel rims and moon discs....the truck is ready for your logo on the door.....ONE THING THE VIN NUMBER ON IT IS VERY HARD TO READ ....THE NUMBERS ARE SMALL AND I THINK ITS A REPOP....I WAS JUST GOING TO GET ANOTHER ONE....COMES WITH A BILL OF SALE ONLY AS ALABAMA DOESNT ISSUE TITLES BEFORE 1974.....be the envy of your friends......call or text 334-447-zero four four five for questions or send a message through ebay......low reserve...oh i have some more dash trim pieces and the seats need bolting down....the truck wouldnt take much to finish but does run and drive now....I WILL ASSIST WITH SHIPPING AS MUCH AS I CAN AND THE TRUCK IS FOR SALE LOCALLY AND MAY END AT ANY TIMEOn Oct-19-12 at 18:37:31 PDT, seller added the following information: everyone is asking questions and so here goes....keep in mind the truck is unfinished...i drive it around the back country roads around here but it does need wiring better and the headlights do work and the tailights work ....the firewall is the dakota firewall so switchng it to a 5 speed with the pedals would be easy.....it does need finish welding on the chop and the channel but its not going to fall apart as is......it has glass pack mufflers which exit at the rear of the cab and the windo regulators roll up and down and it does have glass in the back and the drivers door which is original...the drivers door window is cracked.....the back glass is all good.....it has the stock dakota tank and electric fuel pump which is connected to a of all things rochester 2 barrel carb which runs good but does have a slight dead spot until warmed up....mainly from sitting.this truck would be an awesome truck finished and is unique with the chop channel and section on the front fenders and it has some cool old looking pinstriping on it.....AND IF THE TRANNY ISSUES SCARE YOU I AM INCLUDING A SUPPOSED TO BE GOOD USED 727 OUT OF AN OLD RV THAT SHOULD BOLT RIGHT IN...oih and since it has the stock dodge dakota fram it has disc brakes ,power steering and power brakes HAPPY BIDDING
