Vehicle Detail

Up for auction my early 1965 Mustang fastback 2+2 California car History of car: I purchased this car 1982, from what I was told, was the original owner. I drove it daily until about 1991 when the car went into indoor storage has not been on the road since. I got her back on the road in 2012, I guess for one last drive. Now this could be your dream car. This car is perfect for someone looking for an all original 1965 fastback to restore back to original showroom quality. This Mustang runs and drives but will need some tuning or a restoration depending on if you want a driver or a show car. It needs very little to be a road worthy car. This is list of what I did to get the car back on the road. New: Water Pump, Radiator, Radiator Hoses, Points, Condenser, Cap, Tires, Battery, Gas tank, Sending unit , Fuel filter, Oil/filter Rebuilt: Master cylinder, Rear wheel cylinders, Flushed brake lines, Carburetor Door Data Tag 63A = Fastback w/ Standard Int. I = Champagne Beige 29 = Palomino Vinyl w/ Palomino Trim 15A = January 15th 71 = Los Angeles 6 = 2.80:1 Standard Differential 6 = C-4 Automatic Drive Line: Original 289 Engine (rebuilt in 1982/3) Cast iron Ford 4 barrel manifold with a Holley 600cfm carb. (see extras below) Original Transmission C4 Body (this car has all original panels) Over all the body is in good shape for its age with the following exceptions: Both door have a bit of rust in the lower corner, drivers side drip rail has a small rust spot and some rust at the lower edge of the rear window. The rear bumper has a small dent in it. The car was repainted white in 1983 from its original color (Champagne Beige) Interior Original interior except I replaced the kick panels. The two front seats need to be reupholstered and the head liner has a few tears. The rear fold down seat is there and in good shape. The Rally pac is there but the clock does not work (never has) and the tachometer works but not with the MSD. The dash pad is in great shape always covered. It does have the original radio too. Suspension Brakes are the factory rear drums and front disc. Extras MSD Electronic Ignition, original 2 barrel manifold, 2 barrel carburetor (not sure if it was the original), 2 barrel carburetor spacer, Air Cleaner, Glove box book, Jack and lug wrench, Spare tire and Drivers door rear view mirror. I will also include the original radiator, kick panels cut for speakers. If you are the winning bidder I “REQUIRE a $500.00 dollar NON- REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT WITHIN 24HRS AFTER END OF AUCTION WITH PAYPAL OR BANK WIRE”. The balance must be paid in full within 7 days of end of auction with a bank Wire, cash, cashiers bank check. The car will not be released until funds have cleared my bank. Buyer is 100% responsible for paying for and arranging any shipping. Buyer accepts full responsibility to pick up the car after auction. I will assist in any way possible. Car is being sold AS IS WHERE IS. This is a used car so there is no warranty or implied. I reserve the right to sell this car locally. I have done my best to describe the overall condition this car, if you need additional information or photos email me.
