Here we go, up for sale, starting at $1.00, NO RESERVE!! I encourage you to come by and check this car out, you will not be disappointed! When I bought this car some 10+ years ago, I was all in on making it into a street car that I could bring to the race track and smoke all the little imports. Well, starting my own business and family have taken up all the time and money I had to put into the project, so it sat. In my garage on jack stands since then. I got a good start on it...removed the 4 cylinder and 4 speed. Found some of the (now becoming increasingly rare) factory frame plates and motor mounts for a small block. Also located the crossmember and tailshaft housing for a TH350 and bolted it up to the factory torque arm. Realizing the original front springs would not cut it, I replaced them with some new heavy duty springs and a brand new set of Competition Engineering adjustable drag shocks. I then put in a rebuilt 267 that I had in my daily driver, as well as the rebuilt TH350. I have removed the gas tank and have a 7 gallon JAZ fuel cell in the trunk. I also have a pair of Holley blue fuel pumps with a regulator. I even have enough 1/2" aluminum line to plumb the fuel system. Thats about as far as I got... As you can see from the pictures, the car is in great, ORIGINAL shape! It has not been cut up in any way. The fenders, quarters, rockers, doors, etc... are all clean, NO RUST!! This is a southern car that has spent all its life here in sunny east Tennessee and it shows! There are the typical dings and scratches you would expect in a car with this age, but you will not need to do a bunch of patching rusty panels. I pulled the carpet out when I got it, and the floorboards look great too. Passenger side has absolutely no rust and the drivers side has a tiny little spot. The interior is full of parts that I have acquired through the years...torque arms, crossmembers, brake booster, steering wheels, drive shafts, etc... I even noticed a brand new external battery cut-off switch still in the package! I really don't want to sell the car, but my wife says it has to go, so... My loss is your gain. You could have this car running and driving in a weekend, easy. All it really needs is to have the electrical, fuel, and cooling hooked up and you will be smoking the poor little right rear tire down in no time! Clear title in hand.
