Vehicle Detail

I have made a few attempts to sell this bike on Ebay and I will try one more time and then cover it up for the winter. I have lowered the price to what I think is a very fair price and given Ebay fees, this is my bottom. I have looked at comparable bikes here on Ebay and believe that mine is one of the cleanest on here for a 2008. Although there are some that have lower miles, you can see they are scratched, weathered, covered in stickers, etc. Mine is clean and clearly very well taken care of. As the picture shows, the light scratch it has is pretty much it. It has been ridden very conservatively since 2008. I have set my reserve price at what I think is very good given it's retail value and the bike's condition and if I can't get there, I will cover it up for the winter and wait for the spring market. The "buy now price" is very fair as well for a bike in this condition from a mature rider. I am a 49 year old corporate executive and I have never raced, beaten, abused, tipped over or otherwise damaged the bike in anyway. It has always been garaged and has only seen light rain long enough for me to get it back in the garage and wipe it down. It has been meticulously maintained. The bike features Yoshimura Carbon Fiber exhaust along with a matching carbon fiber (look) Puig wind screen. The bike has a Power Commander II that was custom dynoed by Steve Smithers (Smithers Customs) in Olathe, KS. I had the Yoshimura pipes put on at the dealership I bought it from. The bike comes with the original pipes that came off it as well. My wife and I rode the bike to bike nights and I took it on a couple of long trips. It is very clean in every regard. There is one very minor scratch on it and I have included a picture of it. It is below the allen screw that holds the seat on. I had a small slip of the allen wrench one day when I was removing the seat to clean under it. I did some buffing to fix most of it but it is still slightly noticeable but very minor. I can honestly say that I have never "poured the coals" to this bike. I always loved the look and power of the Hayabusa but was never good enough of a rider to peg the throttle. Therefore, the engine is very fresh and the bike exceptionally clean. I have moved north to Iowa and I am selling the Hayabusa to change to a different style of bike this time. I have been on Hayabusa's since 2001 and ready to try something else. Feel free to email me with any questions or forward me your phone number and I will be happy to call you and answer any questions you have about the bike.
