This is a re-list due to a non paying buyer. I have no problem with international buyers however please do your research on shipping or whatever before you bid. I added a Buy It Now option that is lower than the car bid on the first listing....! This is a FiberFab Speedster Replica Wide Body. The shell and deluxe package where purchased in 1987. The first owner did a few things and then put it in a storage container. Fast forward to 2011 and I bought it. I have prepared and shortened a 1972 IRS chassis for the build. The body fits the chassis perfectly. I also have collected the following, a fresh 2.0l type 4 long motor with dual 40 carbs and heat exchangers, a complete set of OEM Porsche 931 disc brakes/hubs/spindles/calipers/mintex pads, and a variety of OEM 356 parts door handles/trim gauges......Also has stock VW brakes on the chassis if you want to go that route. I also have the pedal cluster, all the cables, correct flywheel for 2.0 to beetle trans, shifter, shift rod, steering column, new tir rods, new ball joints, beam adjusters, fuel tank, This deluxe kit has a lot of extra stuff like full top, roll bar.....too much to list... you really should call for details. I have PDF files of all the parts and hardware. The car is missing a few things such as windshield, one seat, but largely this represents an excellent opportunity to purchase a high quality kit and all or most of the peripheral stuff for a relatively easy Winter project ... put simply, you get superior shell from 80s - great 2.0 liter running gear lots of real OEM Porsche parts all for a fraction of what a less complete and inferior quality current kits would cost! Cut pile carpet instead of loop , heavy duty vinyl top and tonneau, higher BHP engine, compete stainless steel hardware, freeway flyer four speed gearbox ($4k alone!!) OEM front and rear bumpers ... the list goes on and on ... also well technically written assembly instructions ... call me and let's talk through it as it hard to get it all in the description ... you will need basic mechanical skills and the ability to transport this non running amalgamation of parts ... have you finances in order ... good luck bidding I do have all the documents for the car including the certificate of origin for the body that has never been titled, the Speedster plaque that has never been mounted, the title for the chassis, all the receipts and shipping documents, and a collection of other misc. paperwork.
