This is a classic 1966 Dodge Dart 225, California since new, complete with the original CA black license plates. This car has held up well and runs and drives great!! It starts right up without problem, and its 3 speed column shift transmission engages and has no problem with the clutch and is able to shift into the 3 gears without issue. It is rough around the edges with nicks, bumps and bruises here and there, but for its age it only adds to its charm and appeal. The interior does have the to be expected rips and tears in the door panels and carpet, but the seats are in remarkable condition and have held up impressively. There is some rust, but very minor considering its age. The vehicle has not been restored and is not being presented as perfect, but is certainly in very acceptable and fine working condition and could currently be considered in "Daily Driver" status. An invoice that was found in the car, pink copy depicted in picture, shows $2596 of work was done in October of 1986, including installing a reconditioned motor. The mileage at the time the work was performed shows 79,812. The odometer currently shows 51,845, which means it is obviously 151,845, so there has only been a little over 70,000 miles put on the engine since. No one would have any problem jumping right into this classic and using it for everyday use. It also has good bones and a solid foundation from which to do a complete restore and honestly wouldn't take much to do so.
