The 1990 Honda Pacific Coast is quickly becoming a hard to find classic. It looks like nothing else on the road. To be honest, I wasn’t sure I liked the looks of the bike at first glance, but after spending just a day with it I’m growing quite fond of it. I think it has the makings of a pretty cool bike. There are a few issues the new owner will want to address: the breaks are tight from sitting. My best guess tells me that a caliper rebuild should fix the problem. The windshield has seen much better days, but again it may be corrected with a cleaning compound and/or a buffer. The muffler also sounds a bit rough, may be nothing-may need replaced…not my specialty. There are also numerous dents, dings, scuffs and scratches. I’ve done my best to provide photos from every angle. Lastly, I don’t think a new set of plugs would hurt anything, as well as a good carb cleaning. I really don’t think it would take a great deal of work, even by someone with limited mechanical skills, to get this bike ready for a cross country trip. If you’re looking for that perfect bike to work on over the winter; this is the one. I’ve been doing some research since this bike rolled in here, and I think even someone with my limited skills could turn this bike into a showpiece by spring, without spending a lot of money. In fact, if the bike doesn’t sell on the first-go-round, I may just keep it. I think black and silver would look sharp. -The bike is being offered at our dealership, so we reserve the right to end the auction at any time due to local sale. What this means is that buy it now is the only way to insure you don’t miss out. -Local pickup is preferred, but we will cooperate with shippers if you are inclined to make all of the arrangements. -A $200.00 non-refundable deposit is required via Paypal within 24 hour of the auction’s end.
