1979 VW BAY WINDOW BUS WITH A/C "RARE" LAST YEAR OF THE TYPE 2 VW BUS UP FOR 5 DAY AUCTION OFFERED AT "NO RESERVE" I have collected alot of rare LOW MILLAGE bus's in the past 3 years but this one is one of my favorites because of the running gear, and very rust free. This is a low millage VW Allways in sunny CA. never seen snow. Paint is nice and shiny, body is very rust free and streight. Interior is nice and clean, new carpet kit, no cracks on the dash. I listed below my pictures of the ones I collected in the past, I dont collect shiny rust buckets only nice clean bus's. It is turn key and very reliable, it will drive anywhere. We recently took family on a 700 mile road trip doing over 70 m.p.h. on hiway and it did not skip a beat. I am not affraid to take all my family in it. I recently spent over $5000 on the engine, transmission, brakes, new tires, and new clutch with reciepts. I was going to put a roof rack, tropical curtains, VW mudflaps etc. etc.. I ran out of money to finish the look I wanted.
