I am selling a 1957 oldsmobile 2 door hard top model eighty eight it has a v8 371 4 barrel motor i was told that this makes this car a super eighty eight but i'm not 100%positive of that. This car has been parked in a garage for over twenty years. The garage had a leaky roof and a dirt floor so it didnt do any justice for helping this car. The previous owner told me this car ran and drove great and what happened was he had the car parked behind a bar and someone stole the carbuerator and broke the front winshield and side glass out of the car. Thats when he parked it in the garage.The car looks to be mostly complete as far as interior and stuff goes the parts that are off the car like door panels door handles and knobs and radio are in the trunk. There is some trim missing off the car too looks like its in the trunk too.The frame looks to be solid with no rot or damage to it from what i can see This car will need a total restoration as the floors are rotted it will need body work in the floors rockers qaurters ect ect it will need mechanical work brakes engine transmisson ect ect.I took pictures of the car if you would like more ot have any questions or concerns please email or feel free to call me at 203-619-1200 marc The car rolls freely no hung up brakes but the brakes do not work i did remove all the spark plugs and put marvil mystery oil in all the cylinders and down the intake i never tried starting this car or turning it over.This car will need to be flatbedded or towed This would be a great car to either restore or do a custom too it has alot of potential.This car is being sold locally so i reserve the right to end this auction at any time.
