ALL ORIGINAL 1970 Ford Mustang Convertible, with original 302 V8 motor. Car runs and drives but in need of some TLC to the body and some small issues need repaired. The car has been sitting for several years and was last on road approx. 2003. I will point out the good, bad and the ugly in my listing for anyone interested. ENGINE: Factory engine F- Code V-8, car has strong good tuned engine, NOT A DROP OF ANY FLUIDS COMING FROM ENGINE OR ANYWHERE ELSE! A little shimmy out of first gear but 2, 3, & reverse are very smooth, good clutch, brakes. Has new coil, fuel pump and brand new gas tank been professionally installed. The motor is GRAND, strong, no ticking, missing, no over heating issues. The valve covers and breather have been painted blue by a novice to the trade. INTERIOR / OPTIONS : Original black interior with bucket seats in very good condition, with the exception of drivers seat has some wear with tears and one small burn on backseat. Sun visors in great condition, steering wheel. The rear view mirror is fogged up. Dash and instrument panel good condition, crack in top speaker. Side panels good condition, missing mirror toggle and knob for window. New black carpet has been installed. The car has no seat belts and the front seats don't slide. Car came with factory a/c so it has the controls present but there is no actual a/c unit in motor (can be installed by purchaser). Nice working clock on passenger side dash. Power brakes and power steering work great. The convertible top is motorized and in beautiful working condition with power accessory button on dash console. The top itself needs replaced but frame and all motorized functions are 100% working. Has rear (2 piece) back glass that zip up style. Includes the orginal dust boot cover which is in great condition. BODY: Body of car needs light - med. restoration. The back quarters and wells are very rusted out beyond a bondo repair in my opinion. Small dent on very tip of hood and to under carriage piece is dented. Both doors have rust on very corners, but all other areas appear in good condition with a little issue here or there. Body has good straight lines but a horrible paint job. Doors take a little effort to open & close but all locks work properly inside & out. Front and back floor pans in the car have been replaced. The original chrome trim is all present good condition with the exception of passenger side and 1 fender well is missing. All original emblems present. All glass is present and good condition, there is a dime size onion in windshield, but not coming through top or bottom of glass. Car also has original hub caps. OTHER- NON WORKING - turn signals, headlights,temp gage,radio OTHER- WORKING - dash clock, wipers, tail lights, brake lights, oil pressue gage, fuel gage TITLE: I have good lien free clear transferrable New York registration in hand, as 1972 or older vehicles in New York do not have titles they have registrations. Car needs an alignment and needs new tires as the present ones are dry rotted. There were only 4,200 produced in 1970 so they are quite rare. This is an F-Code which is the factory V8. I have no history on the car and have done my very best describing this wonderful vehicle!
