I have owned (or maybe I should stay STORED) this car since 2009. I bought it as an extra car for a family member that was supposed to visit from a foreign Country, however things have changed and it has not been used for that purpose. In fact, it really has not been used at all. The car runs EXCELLENT. Don't let the miles fool you, it runs like a new car. I encourage anyone to come see it. The front rims are OEM BMW wheels (not refurbished) with less than 500 miles on them. These cars are notorious for lasting forever, but also for having an issue with the ABS module going bad. This car has that problem, however the module is fine. I spent $2K this past summer with BMW to replace the module and a computer. I also spent another $500 just on the Bosch part, and an additional $600 for a new alternator. The car also has a new battery. I can take the car back to BMW and have them address the issue with the Dash Lights/ABS/Speedo but I assume they may want as much as $500-$1,000 to fix it. I would require a deposit before I take it back to them and spend more money fixing it. Known issues include a water leak when the car is parked at a certain angle (easy fix I expect) and some rust near the RR wheel just below the RR door. The car overall is in good condition considering the age. I also spent $3K getting the transmission rebuilt, and it is 100% strong. Drive this car and you will love it as much as I do.
