Here we have a 62 bubbletop that has been a race car its whole life. The car shows 9500 miles on the odometer which I believe to be true as the car has no rust and is super clean but it fell victim to some crazy person thinking taking a sawzall to the car could lighten it up!!! The car currently has a straight axle in the front and the last motor combination must of been with motor plates cuz they cut the cross member. The firewall is cut as are the floors up to the front floor braces. the back and front window are glass and the sides are plexiglass that are cracked or missing. I do have the complete glass nose for this car and the current doghouse on the car is just sitting on it. The car was originally black with red interior and after seeing some postings on the H.AM.B. about this car i believe it to be an original 409 four speed car. The steering column is solid and is the original which a four speed car would have. The cars raced name was "EL BELAIRO" and if any of you know any history on the car I would love to hear the stories. The car spent its life around the southern Wisconsin area and people on the H.A.M.B. said it use to sit outside a Shell station in Milwaukee and it was always a 409 four speed car!!! I'm not guaranteeing anything but by the stories I would say yes!! I have a couple 409's and this car would be great to leave as a drag car or use the pristine four door South Dakota car to make it a really nice street or show car. The four door does run and drive and I have a title for the bubbletop, but not sure bout the four door? I have several spare parts that go with the car including some side glass. The interior in the car are some seats from a Belair that I picked up over the years. I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but if you have any questions please feel free to ask.
