FUEL INJECTION ENGINE FROM A 1978 SUPER BEETLE NEW PAN WAS INSTALLED ALL SEATS HAVE BEEN REPLACED ALL TIRES ARE LIKE NEW CONDITION THIS BEETLE WAS IN RUST FREE CONDITION WHEN I PURCHASED AND HAD NO RUST DUE TO GARAGED BY OWNER. THE REAR HIT DAMAGED THE FENDER WELL BRACKET, NO FRAME DAMAGE. ALL RUBBER WINDOW MOLDING IS INCLUDED. ALL CHROME PLATED FENDER BEADING TO PLACE BE-TWINE FENDERS AN BEETLS BODY IS INCLUDED. THIS BEETLE IS 80% READY FOR PAINT BOTH BUMPERS ARE INCLUDED MANUAL TRANSMISSION IS IN GOOD CONDITION. THE HEAD LINER IS IN GOOD / FAIR CONDITION AND I DO HAVE A NEW BLACK HEADLINER. THIS COULD BE A GREAT BEETLE BUT I HAVE HAD A HEALTH PROBLEM AND NO LONGER WORKING ON BU ORIGINAL FUEL INJECTION ENGINE WITH ALL NEW INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL PARTS, BOTH HEADS HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY CHECKED BY A LOCAL MACHINE SHOP AS WELL AS THE CRANKSHAFT AND THE BLOCK WITH A NEW CAMSHAFT AND ALL OTHER ENGINE PARTS TO COMPLETE A NEW REBUILT ENGINE THIS ENGINE IS INCLUDED. On Oct-08-12 at 19:14:15 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been ask to give condition REPORT of body work needed for this 1976 beetle to start with this bug rust free there may be some surface rust from setting but always inside over the past 10 years ecept for the past few months.it was moved from my garage to my drive way. picture # 10 this is the only real dent and took place in my garage miner repair there may be other miner dents found on the body / fenders. # 11 below engine deck needs repair and has a new fiberglass cover skirt # 12 front windshield cracked while installing the auto store that sold this may replace windshield only not instal due to they sold the wrong rubber molding # 13 real windshield installed # 14 picture of new floor pan yes full pan with seat panels poor photo # 15 front seats interior is not new but in good condition # 16 front deck lead open showing spare compartment no rust noted # 17 fenders have not been tighten to body per paired to be painted # 18 picture showing roof of this beetle and shows what i believe to be the original paint color and in good shape needs sanding for new paint I have given a clear and fair report of the condition of this 1976 beetle but the finish job is widely different for different owners. I never had in mind to do a mint restoration job so you decide what type of restore job you want and want to spend. paint jobs may range $1.000.00 to $10,000.00. This report is not to satisfy the person that may be looking to RESTORE TO MINT CONDITION AND I AM NO APPRAISER THIS IS JUST AND OPINION OF CONDITION AS I SEE IT TO BE.
