Vehicle Detail
This is a very nice, all original, 1967 Dodge Charger for sale. I am the 4th owner of this fine vehicle. I’ve proudly owned it since 2004 to present (8 years). I have enjoyed every minute of it, too. This is the kind of car that draws attention no matter when you drive it! This car has been garaged and covered since I've owned it. The 3rd owner did a lot of restoration on this classic. From 1993 - 1996, it went through a complete interior and exterior restoration process, which included repaiting it the original factory color: Code LL1 - Dark Turguoise Metallic. Well, let’s get down to business. This beautiful car now resides in the San Francisco Bay Area! Original rally wheels Facts about this Charger from 2004 to present - I've spent over $10,000 of my own money on the following: · Complete New Exhaust Pipes and Mufflers – the original exhaust manifolds are intact · Original Transmission Completely Rebuilt · Brake System Completely Rebuilt – Including New Master Cylinder · Tune Ups & Oil Changes & New Gaskets · New Thermostat · New Air Cleaner and Filter · New Belts & Hoses · New High Performance Gas Shocks · New Battery · I have all receipts to substantiate all repairs that I’ve had done Like any older vehicle, there are few minor chips and scratches in the paint. The way I'm selling this car is exactly the way I got it from the previous owner. The body is 99% perfect and as far as I can tell, there is no bondo. The carpet is a little faded, but a new carpet kit will make this car almost mint on the interior. You are buying this car as is and there is no warranty. It runs very well and runs very strong. With a little work, this car is definitely "show car" material. This a matching numbers vehicle, too (original motor, transmission, and rear end). If you have any other questions, please contact me. I will answer your questoins as timely and as accurately as I can. I have a few more photos that I can send, but not many. I am a Charger lover. I owned a 1968 Charger in high school. I am sorry I ever sold it. On Oct-03-12 at 09:31:21 PDT, seller added the following information: Below is a question I received regarding rust and drivability, and I thought it may help to post it: Hi, I can certainly send you any shots you'd like to see. There is surface rust underneath the car and surface rust in the trunk. The trunk IS NOT rusted out like many Chargers. I have pics of the trunk, too. If you can provide with an email address, I'll get those off to you tonight after work. I've had at least 3 mechanics tell me that the rust is no issue. They've all had it up on the lift and always said the same thing. The rust is normal and only on the surface. Nothing in "rusted out" on the body or undercarriage. I have driven it less than 1000 miles since I bought. And, I've driven it all over the Bay Area without any problems. So, if you are a gambler like me, I think she would make it just fine. It runs really strong and just purs on the freeway. Personally, I'd have it shipped just because it's less likely to get damaged. I had it shipped to me when I bought it, and I'm glad I did.
