History: I bought this car from California 3 years ago with intent to restore. I entered graduate school and I'm moving so it has to go. It was a rolling chasis complete without carborators or an ignition key. I stripped the car down completely, it was sand blasted and primed simply to preserve the car while I did metal work. Thats when the project went into storage in 2011. I bought a gas tank support and passengers rocker panel started fitting them. The body is in good shape considering their reputation. Rear fenders no rust. front fenders have rust where they meet the hood other then that they are good as well. Both doors are surprisingly great, flat with minimal surface rust. the rear floor boards are pitted with rust but solid. The front fender is dented otherwise not rust. Rear bumpers are in good shape, dent in the passengers rear fender. all the glass is intact as well as alluminum trimmings are in really good shape. Window tracts complete and functional. Front seats are complete, like I said all the parts are here in various containers. I am more than happy to provide more pictures/better pictures if I get true interest. I don't have the time to market is as well as I should, I just really want it gone. It's complete minus the engine, all of the body is restorable, I've already bought the panels I felt needed replacing at the time. 901 transmission turns freely, though I'm sure should be rebuilt. It's as is, its a big project. 1968 being the last year of this body style its defanitly worth investment for someone, just not at this time in my life. On Oct-05-12 at 16:48:47 PDT, seller added the following information: Located in Dowagiac Michigan 49047. Gas tank support is not yet welded in place. It was purchased in 2010 just covered in surface rust. The picture has odd reflections that make it appear to have holes, thats not the case. I have title and VIN tags, if you would like pictures let me know, just didn't think of it when I did the listing. Pictures of the glass and aluminum strim is also available.
