27,955 Original Mile, 1978 Cadillac Coupe Deville, One owner from 1977-2011, All Original, Triple White with Red Trim The car was purchased new at Rector Cadillac in Burlingame CA, October 17, 1977 by Mrs. Frances Ellison, has been garaged since new and was purchased from the daughter of the Ellison Estate in 2011. The car spent most of its life in San Francisco, coming to Arizona in 2011. The car was started regularly, maintained and driven to keep it in tip top condition. The car retains the original exterior paint, with the factory original hand painted red pin-stripes. The white landau top is excellent with functioning side opera lights. All the glass is factory original as evident by the stamps, including the windshield with no chips or cracks. All the factory original chrome is perfect all around with no scratches, dents or marks. All the impact strips are perfect, and even have the white pin-stripe in the center. A few door dings and blemishes are present due to age but no accidents or damage. All exterior chrome and stainless trim is perfect including lower rocker panels. The tail lights, headlights, turn signals and grill are all in perfect factory condition. One or two headlight adjuster screws need replaced. The car features the factory Cadillac wire wheels with no curb rash, and all spokes are intact. Tires are in excellent condition with wide white walls and no cracks. The engine compartment retains the original carbureted 425 cu in (7.0L) V8 engine and automatic transmission. The engine compartment was cleaned and detailed but left original and shows that it has the original factory decals. The engine runs great and was just serviced, oil was changed and everything mechanically was checked from top to bottom. The brakes work perfectly with no squeaks. The undercarriage is as clean and beautiful as the day it came off the showroom floor. No undercoating or rust, just clean factory finishes from front to back. The trunk looks like it was never used, that's how clean it is. The original dark grey carpet looks nice. Even the trunk boards look perfect with little wear from age. The factory original jack and spare is intact and untouched. Open the doors to this classic and the first thing you'll notice is the door panels are near flawless, with no signs of any sagging or damage. All the leather, buttons, faux finish wood and handles looking great. Even the door lights work. The doors open and shut firmly and have no play or rattling. Next you'll notice that the two tone white on red interior is in superior condition for its age. The seats are firm broken in leather with some cracks and wear. The 6-way dual power seats operate perfectly in all directions. Look at the bright red carpetted interior, all original with no stains, tears or signs of wear. The carpet was covered with a set of factory matching floor mats protecting them. Dash looks to have a perfectly installed matching dash mat, there are 2 cracks underneath. The instrument cluster works absolutely perfect and virtually scratch free. Even the faux wood finish looks great. The headliner is intact with no sagging. The visors are perfect with the vanity mirrors showing no signs of fading and with fully functioning lights. Some of the features include tilt/telescoping steering column, automatic headlight control, AM/FM Stereo with working 8-Track, Cruise Control, Power Antenna, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Remote Trunk Release (not working), A/C, Rear Defogger, Dual Manual Remote Mirrors w/compass and Power Door Locks. Every feature works perfectly, A/C blows ice cold and the clock keeps perfect time.
