This is a 2009 Piaggio MP3 500 that is for sale, but it does not start. This would be a good project for someone that is willing to put the time into it to get it to work. I bought it as a project for me to rebuild. I bought a lot of new parts for it (over $3000 and a brand new battery that I just installed) and was about to finish everything, but there is still an issue with getting the bike to start. I found out that I only have one key for it. I am missing the master key, which is needed to program the key that I have to start the scooter. The master key is available from any dealer, but you need to buy a whole new ignition for it, according to my local dealer. I give up on this one and do not want to spend any more money on it, which is why I am selling it as is. I bought this bike after it had been damaged in the front. I replaced a lot of parts and most of them are brand new. The bike stands up and the hydraulic system is working great. The only issue is that the scooter will not start without buying a new ignition and having the key programmed with a master key. I am selling this scooter as is, with all of the new parts still in the plastic that you see in the pictures. The scooter will also come with all of the old parts from the scooter, including some parts that were damaged. I don't know how the scooter was damaged before. I only bought it to try to fix it. The scooter comes with clear title, not salvaged. The scooter would normally retail for around $9000. I rode a new one before and it was extremely smooth and amazing to ride. The buyer will be responsible for pickup or shipping. A $500 deposit with PayPal will be required within 24 hours after the end of the auction. I am selling this scooter without a reserve.
