1965 Corvair Convertible for sale. I am selling this vehicle for my father, acting as his representative. The car is in my care. Dad's car is a properly preserved and maintained (mostly) original car, with a couple of desirable upgrades. To achieve an objective value, I had the car appraised by a licensed and recognized appraiser, Don Lulay Appraisers, Salem Oregon. The appraisal is attached. The car is fastidiously maintained to operate safely and correctly as built. It received a properly installed and fitted (new) convertible top and new windshield in the past year. It is kept garaged at all times and driven occasionally, purely for pleasure and to keep in top operating condition. It has the 2-carb, 110 hp motor and has received any and all mechanical attention needed to keep it operating properly at all times. During my father's ownership, he has spent (documented in a log) nearly $3000 to address each and every item the car has ever needed, all of them cosmetic in nature. While you'll find many Corvair's for less money, as the appraisal outlines, you'll get exactly what you pay for. Dad bought it from a very long-term owner, who also properly maintained the car and also had the dash updated to a Corsa dash (7 guages) vs the Monza (2). A cd player has been installed underdash, it is equipped with optional bumper overriders, and is otherwise stock. The paint is outstanding and there are no dents or damaged bodywork. The interior is in beautiful condition. It appears restored, but other than the aforementioned, it is simply an outstanding, head-turning, original Corvair.
